There is no limit for managers choosing the same rider in a race, for example, 16 managers all choose Peter Sagan, is there? Ok, realistically it might be not happen, unless Sagan is in a monster form heading for an important race, but you get the picture. I think I have understood most of the regulations and until October more I will comprehend! |

Yeah no limit, all can choose Sagan and I kinda imagine that may happen in the Tour

Tour Down Under Preview is up. Details in the thread, just to say that I will try to always send a PM 48 hours before the deadline to the managers who hadn't sent in their picks, to be safe

There's been a change in the schedule, Tour of Rwanda, set to start in the 24/2 won't be a part of game as there'll be time shortage for me at that time. It will be substituted by the Giro di Sicilia which takes place from the 3rd to the 6th of April.
I ask you make the switch in the rider selection file if you need to. The race as the same category so same points.

So the Andalucia deadline will remain the same. Movistar won't have neither Valverde/Landa, and very likely also not Quintana/Soler/Carapaz/Anacona as all of them are in Colombia, so even tho their roster isn't confirmed I don't believe they'll have a real influence on the race.

Just a little reminder for some that may not be aware of some rules or things you can do that can benefit:
.There are extras you can use, they're shown in the race selection file.
.The extras can only be used outside of GT's btw, also mentioned but just in case.
.The Race Selection file is also a good tool not to repeat picks which is something that's already happening often, and will only get bigger throughout the season.
.Points file is also available, in case I make a mistake with the scoring you can check yourself
This is a big one that I'll mention separately
.You CAN make your picks anytime, you can make picks for the entire season as far as you want to. Most races have at least a manager without having sent his picks, I want to let you know again that you can choose or make a provisional list or anything of that sort in advance for any race you want. The previews are a help and the PM's are a way to make sure there's the most attendance possible, which has been really good but there's always room for improvvement

Just realized I can't use bonus on GT
A question, looking that we are discussing rules, if I chose a rider, and then he doesn't take part of the race, is he gone for all season or I'm just racing with one rider?

Well yes. I get it may not be the most fair thing but I can't be constantly checking the startlists for updates, everyone is free to change picks so it's something easier to spot in the manager's viewpoint. (the races where manager appears with 1 pick is cause 1 of his picks was repeated and he didn't name another rider).

To be fair I was going to use up my extras for the GT until I realized that I cant.
I think this restriction should've been also entforced on the Classics as well. Imagine using these extras at Roubaix or LBL with Sagan, Valverde or Alaphilippe as the picks, one can run away with the overall win if he used the two bonuses on say RVV.

But still, as one-day races they can easily have only a fraction of what can be achieved in a race like PN or TA, so it wouldn't make all sense to block in those races too.

Sorry about the delay of results, the past week has been immensely busy but the schedule has almost gotten free. Between tonight (but likely tomorrow) the results of Sicilia, Ronde van Vlaanderen and Scheldeprijs will be posted, alongside Basque Country teams and Paris-Roubaix preview.

Bit of a busy set of days currently, I'll try to have Liège results/Romandie teams up Tuesday, also Frankfurt and Yorkshire previews up tomorrow. April standings likely will be up wednesday.

Some suggestions for the 2020 season, if you does this again
1/ drop the 2xpoints (unnessesary luck factor)
2/ drop the 3 rider option (same as above))
3/ make a reset just before the tour, to split the season in two. So that we can take the same riders again, otherwise I think the season gets to long with just 2 riders.
4/ in grand tours allow 3 riders but only count the best two ( to help riders having crashes) the unused (lowest scoring) rider can be used again. If two or 3 riders abandon, they can all be used again (only in GT).
