A shame I couldn't fit Goss in the team for this season, as he is certainly flying so far this year. Let's hope he can keep that up. Congrats Eden!

Wallays for the first time visible as he tried to be in the early breakaway. But as Pluciński, unsuccessfully. Bring the mountain stage! |

First target of a sprint tain failed, but JAC still managed to have a significant impact on the sprint. Having to launch early from so far back he did make it to the front, but ran out of gas in the last few hundred metres, and instead provided a perfect lead-out for a couple of his competitors it appears. 5th is about par for the course for him in this lesser sprint field. Now we turn our attention to the main mountain event and hopefully Berhane's challenge for victory!
Congrats to Goss and his team on what is proving a stellar start to the season for him.

Good sprint by Drapac. Shame to lose out on such small margin but third is definitely what I wanted here. Hoping the next stage can be raced at elderly snail's pace so he can keep his GC position

Some problems in team cohesion here. Surely that has nothing to do with the manager's negativity?

So the Saber experiment doesn't work. Oh well, over to Pantano now.

I will take 8th on the flat stage with Kuboki. Hopefully Choi can do even better tomorrow.

Okay if Rowe got the top 10, Bennett needs a top 5 Really weird to see him fall behind so early since he was at the front with not too much energy usage it seemed
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

What a waste! Pantano not even trying to get a high result.
Thanks for the reports

Very nice from both Dall'Oste and Oomen as well, just sad to lose out on the youth jersey that way. Anyway, much more then we expected here, so thanks for the reports!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Meeehh. 4th for Berhane when really looking for podium minimum in this start-list. Given some similaritie/overlap between this start-list and ToA, certainly a wake-up call. Hopefully in a longer race with multiple tough mountain stages, Berhane can overcome his Acc deficit with his mtn advantage later in the season. Some positives in terms of the team being willing to try and control things to ensure no silly BotD slips away with the overall. Not sure I made the bet decision with the split of domestiques between the two clashing stage races. Affonso making his first note-worthy appearance supporting his leader after his late signing during transfers.
Between Colombia and East Java, picked up 50+ points less than had hoped for given this is one situation where having 2 2nd tier mountain dudes rather than 1 big hitter might have been to our advantage. Both Berhane and Ji deliver less than needed. Berhane has had a good start to the season before now, and 4th isn't a complete disaster (although falls short as defending champ and pre-race favourite). The adition of the importance of this stage for KoM and points jersey though means that the big points accumulation goes to the winner/podium guys.
Thanks for the reports TSM and congrats to the podium finishers.

Beautiful way to bounce back after Valls' disappointment in Colombia! This more than makes up for the very poor pprd in Latin America, clearly Southeast Asia is more our stomping ground.
Penasa is a star, and Eyob for the U25 win is a bonus as well
Congrats to jph, and thanks for the excellent reports as always tsmoha

Decent for Choi to take 5th. Not thrilled, but anything too further down and I'd probably be disappointed so 5th is nice. Glad Choi was able to hold off the large group just down the road after he cracked.

Two guys in the top 10 is all I could ask for. Very close to top 5, but I'm satisfied with how that race went. Especially since it is C1 race. Really close for another team classification victory. Those will come, those will come |

Nice move by Lindau on stage one and decent from La Lavandier in the mountains securing a 25th in GC. |

I get that the team was send back to help Drapac survive the stage, but couldn't we at least keep Khodayari out of here? I'm sure he could've picked up a few points if he was allowed to ride on his own. Oh well.
Congrats Ayubowan! and thanks tsmoha for the reports!

Awesome result!! 4 riders in the Top11, with the podium accomplished and team classification is amazing, Baltazar and Hirschlein doing brilliantly as I wished.
Congratz Ayubowan and thank you tsmoha fo the reports!
