A nice start from Velits, gaining a (?) point and some time on all but Uran and Keizer. Even if it wasn't... Olot of time!

Keizer back to his PCT winning form. Incredible actually how often he underperformed in tts in the past and how few wins he only has in this discipline. |

Sepulveda/Abreu/Craddock with decent start over there. Let's hope they will deliver in the coming stages too. |

Pleased with the result although it will surely make no difference in the end. Kiserlovski giving good signs, aswell as Hirchlein.
Gratz Eden! Keizer seems like he will dominate the big TT, he's the one to beat.

Pulls on an Indosat jersey for the first time and wins a stage, perfect! Unbelievable start to the race here with that victory, a great ride from Keizer! Hope it’s one of many more to come
Viennet with a solid ride and Velits also with a great result too. Going to be an interesting race
Thanks for the report!

Keizer with the first blow, but it's only a few seconds. Congrats Indosat!
Haga with a great prologue, reminds of his upset CT time trial victories when he was still unmaxed

Indosat having a great February, and Keizer already continuing that here.

Amazing ride there from Borisavljevic! 6th on that stage is absolutely wow. Is a great start to the race for the young man. Gonna also 3rd in the U25 classification behind Milis in 1st is also great.

Happy with 2nd on the stage but it feels a little worse due to the fact a stage win was stolen at the last! Even so, hopefully we can win the longer TT and Meintjes can repay some of our faith in him so he can get somewhere around the top 5 GC...

Not good signs from Henao for the ITT later on, but it was to be expected. Stage 2 is where he needs to make an impact with the long climb to the finish because I don't believe Stage 6 will allow the same kind of time gaps. Expecting him to lose 5-7 minutes to the likes of Keizer, Uran and Velits, among others, over the hill and the ITT stage, so he needs to do so something special elsewhere.
Decent stage from Nava. Hope he livens up bit going ahead.
Thanks for the report

Stage 2 ended alright with Nakane taking the KoM lead and the Panardet duo finished with the big group

I don't get why Rodrigues decided to attack that early. I know there are much better climbers, but if he was thinking it's the only way to gain some time... He was right and wrong at the same time. Right, because it's the only way to surprise the favourites; wrong, because no one will give him a place to go. Results were just as I was expecting to be. No differences. Now I need Sepulveda to repeat that on the next stages (so please, do not lose time) and deliver in the TT. That would be great. 9th in GC so far. Looking good! |

Excellent for Nepom. Bit more selective could be good, but I will take this as a good stage result

Not bad for us with Velits not dropping time to many better climbers except Denifl - hopefully the hills and ITT can help him to the top 5 or podium here. Shame to see Bennett losing time here though, I guess he's a donestiwue of course but he should be staying in that group. Good to see Tosh having no trouble making it through, fingers crossed Stage 4 is a sprint and we can fight for a win there.

Great stage today. Roson in the breakaway getting a lot of KoM points, but not strong enough to hold with our former rider Nakane (maybe now i regret about that trade lol, and also not signing Contador :lol Hopefully he goes onto the attack in future stages too to fight for this jersey.
Novak getting a Top10 and rising to 4th in GC is amazing. I really fear tomorrow's stage, as in the hills he could lose all his GC chances before the long TT. Serrano also in the first group is nice, but he'll be raped tomorrow, so
A shame that Ndayisenga lost another minute on Borisavljevic for the U25, hopefully later in the race he can recover, but seems unlike.
Great report tsmoha!

Not bad from Úran, unfortunate not to get a gap (what the hell was Martinez thinking btw) but overtaking Keizer in the GC is a good sign. Only Denifl has become a bit more threatening. Congrats SPAR!

A bit unhappy with the fact the race wasn't selective, solely cause Kiserlovski appears to be in such good shape, and BALTAZAR 5th how?! Mega result but I'm afraid the TT will kill any GC chances for him.
Hoping for every single stage to be attacked now, many time-trialists still finished in the group that weren't taken into account seriously by some (including me) for the Top10

Strange stage with no real attacks apart from Denifl and Uran. Would have been a good opportunity create some gaps in the GC but oh well. Glad to be out of the lead so we don’t waste too much energy on the hilly stage trying to chase.
Congrats Bikex! Denifl with a good start to th season this year.
And thanks for the report!

Not the worst stage although would have hoped for some more attacking aggressive riding from Nazaret. Good to see Borisavljevic make it into the select group and gain a quite comfortable lead in the U25 classification.
