Surprising winner Gratz, tasta! Must be just great to have such a dominant (and also reliable) rider in your team.
Quite a big result for Minions as well! Happy to see Kinoshita as runner-up, another reliable scorer he is. Obviously not the perfect season for anyone else but EBH in the hills
Thanks for the report! (Both for posting and writing)

Could've been a very dangerous race, though in the end we limited our losses to 14 and 6 points, so pretty happy with that, although LLS was once again a flop.
I roughly worked out the relegation battle, one spot between these 4 teams: (my numbers may not be 100% accurate)

Races Remaining:
MOL: Barbados Cycling Festival, Japan Cup, East Java
Netia: Giro dell'Emilia, Barbados Cycling Festival
Valio: Giro dell'Emilia, Barbados Cycling Festival, GP Kigali, Japan Cup
Ticos: Giro dell'Emilia, Japan Cup, Lisbon Classic, East Java + ? (They have 6 more RDs which I cannot figure out where they are)
I also even more quickly worked some of the other nearby teams, I didn't really have time to work them all out, so I just guessed which ones would be lowest, though I'm reasonably sure Carlsberg, Eritel, Kraftwerk and Leirse should all be considerably above these teams.
Either way, given their scores, I'm reasonably sure there won't be any other teams dragged down into the relegation fight this late, only Euskatel might be a very unlikely possibility.

How sure are you about Lierse? We've really been crap this month so I'm not sharing your optimism.
Cool to see Quintero in the BotD, but immediately hinted to me that WCC weren't going to be troubling the top 10 at the end of affairs, and so it was. Boily 18th isn't dreadful, but positioning played a huge part here, and was better suited to teams with top favourites it would seem. No surprise with the victor, but EBH is deserving given his skills.
Re: the discussion above, and more widely across all the divisions, anticipation is very high for the end of month ranking updates now September is complete!

You had 1782 points (120 RD) pre-America and Colombia, so I didn't think your points tally was worth working out, now you're at 1804 points across 127 RDs, not as 'considerably above' as I thought but at the very least that puts you a minimum 5 positions out of the relegation zone (note that I'm not counting Carlsberg, Eritel or Kraftwerk).
On top of the other teams behind you, two of Netia, MOL, Valio and Ticos would have to pass you for you to relegate.
Netia is 254 points behind you, MOL is 356 points behind, Ticos is 430 and Valio is 439.
The sum of 1st place in the GC in all the remaining races for each of those teams (I know that's not a realistic measure, but it's probably a rough guide to the absolute maximum each team could score, based on a super amazing season finish) is 305 for Netia, 415 for MOL and 525 for Valio, so even if each our teams won all our races (technically impossible because we're in some of the same races), you'd still only need about 60 points off your remaining races to stay out of relegation (and really, there is no way our teams are going to score anywhere near those numbers in the finale of the season, there's a reason we're in the relegation zone ).
Those numbers were more confusing than intended, but the point is, two of our teams would have to have an above super amazing season finish and your team would have to really really flop for you to relegate. (Particularly after Van Asbroeck overperforms in Barbados )
So it's Emilia and Barbados to decide things for good it seems.
If Il Toro decides to how up again and Gautier starts riding smart it's not impossible. Otherwise I'm preparing for CT and think I can build a team that could make for a fun season.
Well, I guess that's about where our stats should put us here, but I really hoped for more from JJ. I'd rather he attack and end up lower than just ride in to 14th.
Thanks for the report.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy
Wasn't expecting to beat Hagen, so 2nd for Kinoshita is exactly what I had hoped, and Zaini getting 10th will give us an even nicer points haul from this race!
