Wow, this is stage I dreamt about when creating this roster. Sky train, one agressive one passive rider, and a KoM jersey along the way. Hope we can keep this up in the longer stages and drastically increase our pprd!
Aqua, I'm fine with Valls winning, but can't you at least give the rest of us a little bit of hope?  |

Good to see Anacona dpoing well. This is the kind of mountain-heavy racing he prefers and why I wanted to see him back in CT.

Well, it's too early to say that it's race over, but 1'13 on Anacona, 1'25 on Penasa and 3'17 on Eastman is amazing! 
Valls already the rider with most wins in 2017 in !all-divisions!, tying Bewley and Swift with 6
The insane mountain depth is paying off for Reddit, and also a nice result for Andorra in their home race, with Solis fifth.
Pathetic ride again by Eastman and terrible day for Xero trio 
Really nice to have Nakane 11th in GC after finishing in the "big group" and taking previously a couple of bonus seconds. I don't expect him to finish in that place, not even near having to defend Valls' lead, but if he can hang on a top30 result to give a few minor points, as well as Serrano it would be awesome, as it also would helps us to get a Top3 in Teams. The only not positive thing is that as Reddit controlled the stage, we didn't dominate the KoMs as we did in the first mountain stage in Tachira, and also that all our U25 riders are already way down to have a real chance to score any points there.
Vien, if you want to hear that Valls isn't going to win all five stages i can say it And thanks Shonak!

Bravo! My boy Solis finally showing what he's worth  And a very strong showing overall, Rujano, Baltazar and Claerebout all in the chasing group, also a good team classification.
Congratz Aquarius I predict a dominant week, but soon you'll be heavily attacked be ready

Eastman is killing me ... I'm not sure that his stats in the DB and his stats being used are actually the same. He has proven time and time again he isn't even close to the same caliber of rider as some of the other climbers in the CT. Valls seems the exact opposite, clearly the best climber in CT, it isn't even close.

ok start for us here in this sort of field, I'm just glad that Tvetcov was active here rather than anything else. 6th-10th seems to be his level now, but I hope he continues this form to the end of the race.

11th...Not bad from Campero! Beating riders like Bennett is a huge achievement and winning his sprint home. Hopefully he can continue this and maybe get a top 10 result overall!

Very scared after the crash, it could have been the end of Solis' aspritations for the GC, glad he saed it. Rujano also riding strong.
Sad for the other teams affected by the crash, more heavily affected...
Anyway it was a great win by Penasa congratz! Also tsmoha thanks for the great report

Damn, I'm not against crashes in the MG but I hate it when they happen.. Sorry for the affected teams.
Krasno/Anacona/Manfredi trio doing amazing again. First in team GC and also the young rider jersey. Krasno might start suffering now with the length of the final stages and I'm scared of Anacona's downhill in the TT, but I'd be more than satisfied if one of them can hang on with their current position.

Sigh... Eastman has to be the worst "superstar" CT rider ever. Thank god Briceno who has been around the team for quite a while now realized this quickly enough to make something out of nothing for us.

I'm actually happy with this stage. Given that this was Penasa's super day to only lose 29 (+ 12 bonus) on Penasa when he was over a minute ahead of the final descent is awesome. Valls still has 44 seconds on Penasa, who now it's the only rival
Not that it's really important - it's only one of our season goals , but the gap to Solis it's almost five minutes, so that Top5 finish looks safe
Terrible to see so many GC contenders involved in that crash, with Tvetcov being out of the game and Eastman being "saved" by Briceno's crazy ride.
And Hideto Nakane keeps that 11th place in GC Very unlikely that we'll keep that place until the end of the race, but it looks good for a Top20 finish. And we still are in the second place of Team classification

Bardet has done well so far. Hope he keeps it up. He will probably lose some positions in the TT. Battaglin has not, once again. Pointless early attack leading to huge time losses later!
Thanks for the reports so far. And congrats to Valls and Penasa on the stage wins. It looks to be a two-way battle again.
