Even when we try we mess up
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Would have been better to be in the BotD in this stage instead of the first, in order to have a chance to fight for KoM. Let's see if Cunego and Gilbert can perform well as a duo in stage races

I'm not surprised we got nothing out of the first 2 stages, we brought the sprinters here more as an afterthought and didn't expect anything out of them, hence why Salleh isn't present.
Now to hopefully spring a few surprises on the hills just like last year.

Great to see my team active in the breaks, that's really all I can ask for. Nice that Sarawut was rewarded for his efforts with the polka jersey for at least 2 stages! |

Corti faded soo fast in that sprint I wondered if he crashed out or something
Here in one screenshot and gone for the next xD
I'm not too disappointed as the last hill probably took too much out of him, but we gathered some solid results in the sprints, just hope we have the same luck in the GC deciding stages

WCC sprinters continue to be a big let down this season. Two golden opportunities for JAC and Lay(both listed amongst the top favourites), and only a 3rd place on stage 1 to show for it. Have to hope that Boily proves more reliable in the upcoming GC deciders in the hills of the Pays Basque if we are not to go home very disappointed from this outing.

Kreder losing the jersey was expected but doing well to still be in the top 20. Not a bad stage in general as Wyss got 6th and is 4th in the GC for the moment, losing time only to stage winner Roux. More of this from our Swiss please. Not sure why Bardet and Battaglin both lost so much time. Try for the break next time please!
Congrats Jandal
Thanks for the report roturn!

Nice to see Boily riding well again here hopefully there's a little mountain ratio on the last stage could give him an advantage over Roux then it can come down to daily form against Chaves |

Great stage for Anthony Roux - dominant win, congratulations.
Very pleased with Andrii Bratashcuk, good stage for us.

Excellent result for Sonnery, especially considering he doesn't have any sort of sprint train. We're being very aggressive - good race so far.
Disclaimer- Most of my posts are me thinking aloud. And most of what I think is rubbish.

Prado gets on the break... and then crashes I really believe that this was our first crash of the season - we've been lucky with this so far.
Agostini with an amazing performance, somehow able to open a 1-minute gap to Cunego and Gilbert in the descent and finishing with RvdH. If he just had a couple more points in hills... maybe something to think for next year...
With Gilbert and Cunego having a normal day, we now have 3 riders to get really great depth points, which is our strategy for the hills this year. Hopefully all three have a good day in the last stage to bring home a decent amount of points

Guess I'm starting to sorry for some boneheaded decisions I made in the MG. For the next season guess I'll need transfer consultant.
At least Panayotov is doing something in the event (and Stöhr sorta)

Unfortunately my hard drive was full after this pic and the remaining pics were saved as "empty" 1kb white pictures...luckily just after the finish pic...hence rest in text only.
Damn, I get hyper anxious if my hard drive has less than 10 gb free, you sure are a man that likes risk

Great ride from Chaves for us as he finally is showing the promise we needed from him. Hopefully the mountain stat he carries will play a good deal in the last stage and he can overcome the 35 second advantage of Roux who had a great day today.

Problem with a years old installation of Windows.
50 or 60 gb of the 500 GB are split and used for Windows. With all the programs and temp files, you reach 0gb quite fast.
By now I should probably use all 500gb for Windows and everything else on a newer one. But would mean making lots of data transfer first which I don`t have time and nerve for.
Hence I used the windows cleaner afterwards and have now 5gb back from some hidden temp files etc.
Save for another couple years of reporting until I have the same issue again. |

A much better result than what we were expecting brings back the smile to our faces. Needed this. Excellent from Wyss once again to claim 6th in the GC. Winning the points and KOM jerseys (albeit shared) is an excellent bonus. Costa finally getting into the points in a hilly race. Brilliant decisive ride from Ruijgh in the break too. Love it!
Congrats Tamijo on an excellent win after a brilliant race from Bratashcuk . Also to In-n-Out for the stage win!
Thanks for the reports roturn

No crashes all season until this race... and here three riders in the ground, including Gilbert At least Agostini stepped up to give us a nice amount of points together with Cunego - after 10 RD in hilly races, these are his first points - and some interesting points from U25 with Roson and Prado.
Congrats to Tamijo for the win! Did not expect Brataschuk to win at all
And thanks for the great reports roturn!
