Came here with no great expectations, and we've already exceeded them. Holloway overperforming heavily is awesome and Sibilla not losing time on the cobbles is great as well. If Holloway grabs some good bonis in the sprints we might even win the whole thing

So does no TT mean my riders waited for Van Heerden? Ugh. This will be a write off then.

Great stage! At least we took up responsibilities to catch a break I thought we could never catch with that class of riders in the break. Jans doing one hell of a job. Sadly Kump couldn't fully execute it, still a great stage.
Why on earth it had to be Altur though to finish ahead of us, surely stealing the youth classification now Team Classification looks really nice however! For the points we made a nice first step, and the GC looks great as well.
Speaking of the GC, Kump, Holloway, Rowe and van Asbroeck the 4 riders that could improve from their GC position. Podium Ambition once again got very lucky with Hristov (how is he allowed in the break?) securing bonus seconds that should be vital at the end. Kulppi the very unlucky breakaway survivor today, missing out on bonusses very closely.
Polancs crash was a bummer, but great recovery from him. Jans the man of the race. Don't loose any time now! And Kump do some magic on the sprints now

Marc De Maar!!! I love that man. He is godly.
That's about as well as I could have hoped for. A stage top five with Nolf, Breschel, and De Maar all in the group. What does it mean for GC? I mean, basically nothing with the prior two being bad on hills, but who knows with De Maar anymore. Anything is possible.
Fun to see all my guys in the top 61 riders there. Even Appo. Maybe he's on good form then? I hope so, and it's not that he uselessly tired out here. We'll see what happens from here.

Just when I think this season can't get any better. Young prodigy Altur comes through with his first professional career win and will wear yellow for the first time. They grow up so fast.
A weird way to win it in a nonsprint, but I'll take it.
I wish Holloway didn't survive in the main group because I fear he will be the ultimate winner here now. But, for now, I'll happily celebrate this milestone win. Thanks for the report.

All in all a good stage, Jeandesbosz showing himself in the break and Albert/Marcos in the first group. Unfortunately Drapac crashed and I hope he isn't injured.

Altur won the stage, Kump in a very strong position for GC, awesome stuff

Disappointing sprint by Van Asbroeck, he will have to score boni seconds at some point to complete out top 5 goal.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I'm not sure how I feel about Stage 1, on one hand, if Kaspa hadn't crashed out of the break, he could've had an amazing stage, as he is built for stages like this (his luck seems really bad this year). On the other hand, Morkov just decides to finish in the front group, with his 70 cb stat.
Stage 2 however, has the decency to make it easy for me to work out - that was a disappointment, Vantomme not even visible, however, he did stuff this stage up last year too.
Thank you very much for the reports tsmoha and congrats to CT and Mre on their stage wins, as well as to Croatia!

Orange striking back here, congrats CT.
One of the bettter sprints by Rowe this year, so fairly happy about that. Hopefully he can improve just a little bit and take those bonus seconds that he needs to move up. Good to see Wisniowski near the front as well.

Naesen going for the KoM, every additional point is welcome to us with Drapac not even bothering to sprint...

I at first mixed up Kennaugh and Holloway and had a heart attack. Decent, at least no crash and neither loosing time. Stage 3 should suit Kump a little bit better to attack yellow. Polanc needs to do better in the sprints to ensure a decent GC position.

Nice to see some late attack by a powerhorse having success and this stage was the perfect opportunity with all the hills.
Great move by Wisniwoski. |

Shit, awful stage for us. Congrats to Wisniowski though, what a ride! Kump should not be beaten by those riders at this stage. 2 places down for both Jans and Kump is awful for us. Polanc has to be closer to the front as well...

That's more like it. Wisniowksi winning is well-deserved, but Holloway picks up some very important bonis lifting him in the GC. Hopefully some more seconds can be picked up in the final stages to ensure 2nd place

Awesome move there by Wisniowski, can't say anything bad about that AI. Obviously too much for Appo, and De Maar went early, so no stage results. Happy to still kinda be in the mix though.
