Positives: Five points scored by Weiss, Croatia will shut up for a few days
Negatives: Manarelli nowhere to be seen, no rider in the break, very passive racing by our guys.
Hoping on more success in Veenendaal.

A reasonable result! A few weird moves though, but hey, why not try and fool everyone?
Croatia should be proud of Kump. His season is secured once again.

Hmm, I'm not sure what to think. It's awesome to have won this race, that is for sure. On the other hand we are talking about 0 depth points. We are talking about no leadout when being the clear race favourite and having a strong train.

Anyway, congratulations on a deserved win. I'm very happy with the second place here. Even more happy with Cerny and Gaviria setting up a train and even both finishing top 15 here.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

A rare no show from the Newton boys. Disappointing since we were on home soil, but also kind of expected. Speed bumps proved to be too much.
Congrats to Kump. Played this perfectly despite the AI acting weird with the random attacks.

Sweet, 3 days of no moaning now. Kump delivered perfectly in a key race for him. Congrats Croatia!

Rowe with another wasteful attack. Annoying. He's been on a level below what we had hoped so far this season, that's for sure. Makes promotion a bit harder than hoped. At least some points for him, and we end the month on a decent level at least.
Congrats to Croatia on the win

Kulppi <3
For once we didn't use the entire team to destroy the peloton ruining Lo Ciceros sprint.
For this one I'll take his 8th place and consider it a sign of changing times for my sprint squad.

Well, that slightly weak punch gif was shockingly accurate for our race. Signs of action but failure to deliver a reasonable blow.
Ewan did ok in the end to get 7th, it's inside the Top10 at least but feel he should be a touch higher. Ricki was useless, as i expected really. Souper and Mitch were around in the leadout for a change but slipped away to nothing in the end. 4 options, one only half delivering.
Not good enough, but hardly disasterous either. Should keep us on track for survival, although that's looking more precarious as we keep giving away points. Very meh race, very meh sort of season...

Congrats Croatia on the well deserved win.
Couldn't be happier with Aregger taking 4th here in a very strong field!

Hooray, a good sprint by Van Heerden in 2017, it finally happened! Nicely held on to the Lierse leadout train, to deliver 5th place. Certainly happy with that.

Awesome to finally see a flat race with a proper realistic result! Of course, congrats Croatia on Kump delivering!
Didn't really have any expectations for this race, I was hopeful that we might attack at some point or maybe Morkov would take an interest in the sprint to snag a top 10, he was a no-show but Bernas finishing 18th is alright though and a top 20 is quite pleasing, as well as young climber Padun randomly finishing 23rd.
Thanks for the awesome report Aquarius!

I guess Appo did surprise me by not being in the race. Bertilsson not terrible with the minor placing in 12th. Nice to see Razzie and De Maar attacking regardless. Congrats to Croatia and thanks for the report!

Wanted to skip this race with Guerao due to the challenging finish, but then sent him here due to his 3rd place last year. Should've listened to my first intuition, 35th is just a waste of race days!
Congrats Croatia, Kump really performing well so far. This finish was tailor-made for him.
Also thanks for the report Aquarius! |
