So that was... erm.... Ricki completely non-existent, he's not having a good season at all. Darren exploded. G saving the day in 6th in a race he really should, given he's definitely not as good as Ricki or Darren on this kind of route. But on a day when your lead sprinter is invisible, to get 6th is something to be happy with. Sort of... i don't know...

This is just what we came for here. 2nd place by Holloway and 10th by Kuznetsov is excellent. A bit of a shame Goss came flying past in the end, but still a very satisfying result for us.
Congrats to Eden and thanks for the report Abhi

Holy shit that was chaotic - and top notch reporting for that sprint considering how out of whack it was!
So glad for Goss to finally turn a plethora of podiums into a win! Definitely needed something out of that considering the team we sent, even though they didn't actually manage to form a train.
@tsmoha: You could look at it as a Jayco 1-2
Honesty though, Ji is an absolute beast. Without him we'd be completely useless as opposed to regularly useless
Cheers for the report!

Messy race and sprint. The attack from Rowe looked extremly stupid, but then right back at it in the sprint, then going backwards the first few 100 meters, and then finishing it off good again.
Caldeira was brought in as a gamble, hoping that he could have a good day a couple of times in the season and be bothered to sprint. Must obviously have been on a great day here. So close to the podium, but a 4th and 7th is way over our expectations, so we really can't be disappointed.
Congrats to Gossy and Eden. Always love to see Goss winning.

Congrats Indosat, thanks AbhishekLFC
Good to see Esmaeli and Clifford active in attacking. Unfortunately no points, with such a chaotic sprint Manarelli should've been more towards the front. Back to relegation troubles we go

You know it's a problem when DUC still is the most realistic sprint classic - Last year sprint classics were fine, this year, nope.
Top three were realistic this time at least but the rest of the top 10 was pretty random. On top of that it makes no sense that Lo Cicero, Vantomme, Itami and Van der Sande were dropped (before Thorsen even!) especially when there was such a large group of riders at the end.
At least Reckweg prevented it from being a zero pointer for us by finishing 18th.
Thanks Abhishek and congrats Eden, at least Goss seems to be immune to inexplicable top sprinter failures.

Another crappy race from our glorified sprint team. Manninen and Vinther made the split but apparently decided to do nothing with it. Last seasons Vinther could have made a top 10 here.
It baffles me how thhings can change this much when we haven't even changed game...

Guerao continuously scoring nice points so far. Happy about his podium place here, especially considering he would've been off the podium if the race was 5m longer.
Also always great to see the other Asian teams doing well, congrats Eden! |
