Damn, no top 10 for Schoonbroodt is extremely disappointing. Seems like I really overrated the hill stat in these races. Looks like I'm not gonna reach any goals this season.
Thanks for the report |

Philips with an awesome race, only sad that they missed out on the win goal and that the minor depth just didn't really pay off. But it again shows how van Emden is the steal of the season.

I have never been more nervous when reading a report! Phew...
2nd place means we lose the win goal but losing to GVK isn't something to be ashamed off. Congrats Goldcorp on your first win
As for the team, Van Emden, that was pure gold! Would never have predicted that high a finish. Per also taking a point. Riders finishing in 26th and 27th is so bitter-sweet. Drucker delivering when it mattered most and our month looks a whole lot better now
Thanks for the report tsmoha

Wow great races for Goldcorp (popping the cherry with a great show of strength!) Philips (great points ) and Sauber/WCC with some depth too. For us a little disappointed in Vandenbergh there, was wanting to push for top 5 and should have probably. 9th is okay at least. Thanks for a great report tsmoha

Congrats are in order to whitejersey and GVK, as well as to Phillips, Sauber and WCC! A fruitful finish for several teams.
We, on the other hand, have been all hit or all miss, particularly when wind is involved. With big fat bagels in the Great Ocean RR and Gent-Wevelgem, we managed a lofty 4 points here. But that is disappointing considering how well Jérôme was hypothetically suited to the rolling pavé.
Thanks tsmoha, very well done report!

Congratulations to Goldcorp, Philips, Sauber and World Cycling Centre
all having a blast of a race here !
Below par for Campari thats for sure the fact that domestic Eduardo Colon was our best requires some respect, he must have had a nice rider, but it also shows that Verbist and expecially Gatto underperformed. Anyway we took some tiny points better than none at all.
And good to see Matsumoto on a brave suiside mission, showing the
Thanks tsmoha, great report

Super happy to have won our first race, even if the route was tailored to GVK. Now we at least know that we arent going to go through the season with 0 wins. Thanks to all the congratulations. Must admit that some of the other cobbles setups looked pretty scary out there today, but if we can keep utilizing Farrar and very surprisingly Mamyr Stash as good workhorses to setup GVK's attacks we might be in for more glory come around the next cobbled race.
Thanks for a great report as well tsmoha!

GVK was super strong there, he's looking like he might have a Summerhillesque season down here in CT, speaking of which it feels weird to see Azteca in a cobbled race and not dominating it.
We has a strong race ourselves and come away from it having scored the most points, I just hope we can have a few more races as high scoring as this one as the 43pprd is pretty amazing.
Phillips, Goldcorp and WCC are all scoring massively here aswell, so well done to them.
And thanks for the report tsmoha.

Too early say that imo. The profile is probably (one of) the most GVK friendly route with hills being rather important. I expect Drucker or Bush to be a lot closer to him on flatter routes or on routes where the final cobbles are further away from the finish.

Great win Goldcorp, GVK was without a doubt the strongest and its a fully deserved victory!
I ended up with 0 points and yes I'm dissapointed, although the race didn't suit Flaksis perfectly I was expecting him to at least score.

This! This race was basically the GVK race in terms of race profile, some of the upcoming ones, wont be suiting him this hard and the likes of Bush etc. will be able to act on any attacks much more efficiently.

As it's CT, shouldn't that be a Thomasesque season?

Unfortunately I'm very busy lately, but not too busy to follow the races of SanCor.
I'm very happy with this result and I hope we can score more points in cobbled races like this.
Thanks for the report, it was a great read! |
