Nice prologue win for Christian; I hope he can do a repeat performance in the long hilly TT later on, hopefully he'll keep yellow for a few days, ideally until the first day in the hills. Also, nice to see Handley and Rowsell inside the top 20 to give us 2nd place in team GC. |

Okay didn't expect anything against the clock from this team, won't expect anything the next couple days on the flat stuff either. Just have to be patient and wait for the terrain to get tougher.

Close miss, but this was a Great stage for us. Reis, Oliveira and Gonçalves in the top10 is surely auspicious. Congrats on the win Matii!

Great to see a CT team willing to commit 21 race days to the Continental GT (braver than me!) getting a stage win, nice one Martii

Amazing preview Tamijo, ToA is still one of my favourite races and having 111 riders here is great compared to the 35 we had in 2011. Definitely following this one!

Well, that was a letdown.

No major letdowns on the first flat stage, would like to see some more aggression from us after those KoM points but won't get to upset about it, still very early in the race.

Granjel really likes this race, would be impressive to see him repeat his 2015 performance!
Great stuff Tamijo, thank you for the very nice reports.

... Team, we have a train here, form it... Last year we didn't, and you made one, you can do it again.

Really thought Kai Reus was going to be able to win that first stage
and man Sonnery was really bad on stage 2, hopefully it gets better |

We really had a hope to see Sutton within top 10 on every sprinters stage, collecting valuable points toward the sprinters jersey, but I guess there are a lot better and more consistent sprinters out there
Most importantly is anyway to see Lowe coming in with the peloton.
Thank you for the great report! |

Oh this race will be so frustrating if we do not even try to form a train...

Okay one more stage of this flat crap and then we can get to serious racing. Though not looking forward to that team TT in a few days either.

Granjel Cabrera probably better known as Captain America.
Quite impressive run there by him in last 2 years.
Congrats miguel and thanks for the report Tamijo. |
