Anonymous start just as expected, hopefully we can have a bit of fun on the next stage.

We had someone on the front with 5KM to go but then nobody that I could see at the 1KM to go banner before Forcellini takes 11th.
Hopefully the other hilly stage will go better for us otherwise I could see this being a 0 point trip.

Positive stage in that our better hilly riders didn't lose time, otherwise very quiet. Saving energy for the TT i hope!

Well I can't be happy that De Maar pulled up for no reason in the final km. That should have been a runaway victory and instead we get nothing. The good news is that both he and Steensen haven't lost and time on the road. Steensen should be able to put some time into the puncheurs tomorrows, and we'll see where we are after that.

Nice stage for Kinney, fourth place is definitely a good result. If he can repeat that on the other hilly stage we'll be satisfied.

Shame we couldn't a) get the win and b) drop the time triallists

Nice to see Griffith in the hot seat for a long time even due to his early starting position. Kinney in 15th now, hoping he can move into the top 10 at the end of the race.

Nice to see Steensen on the podium
Another consistent performance from Wurtz as well. Thanks for the report, matt. Will be interesting to see if the last two stages can make some changes in the GC.

Well all hail Lord Yatsevich. Tennant best of the rest is great for our podium ambitions in our win goal race - and Kasa backs this performance up reasonably well

Can't complain about Steensen's performance now that he's on the virtual podium. De Maar was solid too, and I was especially surprised to see Bochman and Mygind putting in nice rides as well. With a little luck, one of them might end up with a surprise top ten. Any points we can salvage are critical.
The next two stages are pretty flat though, so I guess the race is decided?

Stage 5 ends uphill, the last km is about 10% steep.

the Australian
Matt have you just stopped caring about which nationality you say a rider is recently
Also, all I want now is a really tough stage 5 ending in a stage win and a top 10

Australians, Kiwis, same difference.
EDIT: Diggle is apparently a Brit but I'm convinced he's Australian.

Argh, why did it have to be Griffith in the break. Anyone else from my team would've been able to hold on and collect a top seven. All hopes now on Kinney for the final stage.

Not much going on in this stage for us. De Maar, Mygind, and Bochman all move up a place, but a competitor crashing is never the way we want that to happen. Looking forward to tomorrow!

GC wise not a bad stage for us, but another missed stage opportunity - if we somehow lose our podium this is the worst failure in the history of Isostar-Adriatic
