Might have a surprise winner, when Thorsen isn't even mentioned. He might lack stamina etc. but with the strongest sprint stat i the peloton, he should be able to make some damage, as our sprinter or as a lead-out for Rizza!
Wiggo and Simon Gerrans!

Surprisingly confident in the train. If there's crosswinds, I have no doubt Giaux can make the selection.
Reckon we could win today.

I kind of agree...your team has clearly one of the strongest leadouts (looking for weaknesses in SPR, FL & STA you´re #2 on my list for the strongest possible leadout today - it´ll all depend on the behaviour of PCM, if it allows you to try and form your own sprint train)
if it works out a Top3 for Giaux is more than reachable, could be the huge surprise of today

Similar to 2014 I guess, weird result at first glance, and Podium Ambition with good points.

What a strange race. At 10 km i was with a smile, after the finish just a half of smile. Thanks for the report (Congrats for the winner) |

I like an active De Haes even though it failed. Drapac on the right side of the split but just couldn't finish it off. Matthews also decent. Manarelli dropped is not a good sign for things to come, but he should do better when he's sole leader.
Thanks for the report roro and congrats Schuh on the (surprising) win

Yes, brilliant result for Will! Didn't expect this at all and he wasn't my desired winner from my team, but brilliant none the less. |

congrats mate
what a weird race, but I like what I see...sadly Timmer couldn´t finish it off, but a great result for us far better than expected
lime-green is rocking the division, not only us but also Wiggle which is very nice to see...I also like to see Drucker that promising for the classics, the team looked great in the wind in terms of numbers and the supporting cast
thanks roro for the report

Definitely hoped for better than that but the wind played a massive effect today, and it's a shame to see a rider I got rid of over the off season outperforming my whole team.

Well that was unexpected even though it had already happened. You would think PCM 15 would be much more strict with breakaways but it turns out it really isn't.
Still a delightful result for Schuh, I was the one who predicted them highest and their multiple scoring options and depth was one of them. Certainly doesn't look bad for them if you can tell how something will go by how it begins.

Feared this would be a crosswinds race and we failed because of it, want to score big pts soon, as this is a bad start to the season

3rd and 4th, can't complain given how that played out. Guess Nelson just couldn't handle the wind, but showed his underlying ability to get Podium Ambition onto the steps come the finish. Thomas clearly benefitting from the winds to score well and get us off to a rocking start all things told.
Also looked like a decent race from Julian. Soupe and Ewan a bit of a let down but fortunately were not needed.
Perhaps the Barbadian-Mauritian team with truly global sponsors will work after all

Thanks for the report, as ever- on one hand, Stevenson showed he is willing to smear his Swedish NC jersey on every break going, just like he should- on the other, to say that Giaux flopped on a stage that, in my opinion, suited him down to the ground is most likely an understatement.

Wow... when I saw the final selection, I would have put all my money on Nizzolo to take that victory!
