Difficult to see Forero throw away such a good lead out + good positioning there to riders that were a bit farther back. Good win for Novatek again, having a good month it seems.

In the right thread this time:
Ermagherd a train!
Well that's very promising indeed if we're actually managing to position Forero well. Still, didn't stop me from correctly predicting that he would be last out of that trio sprinting at the end

I signed Tolleson to become our new sprint leader,I haven't seen a decent sprint from him all season.
Thank god Murphy comes out of nowhere to finish 11th, hoping he can improve in the next stages!

I could be happy about 10th but fuck I'm not.
Some big news then with the peloton crossing the line, as several riders took things too easy, it seems! 95 riders losing unexpected (and stupid) time here:
Molard
Hirt
Berard
Finetto
Favilli
Juarez
Bazhkou
I mean, FUCK OFF. AI is so awful, that just makes -1 sense! Thanks anyway, tsmoha...

Baz was the right side of the 'lazy peleton' split, so that is good - hopefully work to our advantage in the mountains
Thanks for the report tsmoha

with a better leadout Lavoine might've been able to win this one, however it was a close on and 2nd + 4th is kinda the same as 1st if not more
Still got Feillu as reserve for Berard losing contact to the others on this stage, so won't shoot ourselves in the foot just yet

Well Novatek really wants to get close to our stage wins
Matysiak kinda makes up for missing the win looking at points, however could be nice to take a stage win, as I know Lavoine's season has just started and that a guy with his exact stats are topping the rankings

See Pelucchi, I told you starting the sprint near the front would help!
Hoping Umerbekov or Senni will make the break again tomorrow.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Again for Novatek!
Good to see Giacoppo and Pelucchi getting some nice results.

I don't know what happened to Serebriakov in the winter, but I like it a lot Incredibly easy win this time, but a bit of a pity he'll probably lose yellow now.

That's it! I've finally solved it! Serebriakov has swapped places with Forero during the winter and no one had noticed, explaining why Forero has been winning nothing and Serebriakov has been doing quite well. I'm beginning to understand what it must have been like for you last season.

I wonder if Corioni has a clause in his contract that allows him to only care about bunch sprints in one day classic and give a crap about stage races. We'll have to look over it again.

Baz finishes with the main bunch and only +40 on GC so very happy with this so far - given his Hill stat, I worried about this stage!
Congrats to Strava on the win, and thanks yet again for the great report tsmoha

GC-ambitions down the drain, great. Just, great. Kinney not bad though, small light in the dark times around the Minions.

So complaining a whole lot really does help.. Really happy with Pfingsten, that's why he was signed for. He singlehandley saved this race for us which was going awful so far.

I can live with this
Matysiak, Zielinski and Feillu still in good positions and the mountain stages will have more to say than expected xD
Matysiak spend lot of energy leading out Lavoine, so I think he'll be empty to keep the Top 10.

Hirt losing time on the first flat stage already is really frustrating. His good performances seem to be accompanied by bad luck.
At first I was disappointed with Bole for that 25th and 14th in the flat sprints but his 4th place is pretty satisfying for such a hard finish.

A good start. Giacoppo with a top 3 in stage 2 which I couldn't be any happier with! Roe losing + 1'56 in stage 3 but still a long way to go. He is only + 40 seconds behind so a top 10 is very possible from here!
