As we now already reached the second page (thanks for that), I will put the first stage already online this evening!

Hope the Tour of Japan can be a tourning point for us.
Expect a tough fight for the best results. Cataldo can make it to the podium or end around the 20th spot. Wouldn't mind a little luck added to his experience the coming days. Curious how much Marcel Wyss is able to do here, he should be able to compete in the hilly stages.

As expected no one in the points on stage 1. Cobo though finishing just 4 seconds behind Kwiat so good from him!

'Great' first stage for us, unfortunately the 'wrong' guy got the win
Leading 3 classifications so it would be nice to keep these, hopefully there will be no break aways so we have the best chance of a decent GC

Bauer up there. The rest does about what should be expected. Now the race can begin for us. Thank you for the quick start! |

WTF? So ridiculous. Not complaining about Oba's podium but he only has 74 PRL compared to 78 of Quaade who just became 15th..
Kiserlovski doing allright loosing only 11 seconds to the winner. |

Chavanne finally showed good in a prologue, netting 6th. It's a shame he just missed out on the top 5 and on the youth jersey but considering how our season's gone so far I won't be complaining.
Zardini only lost 9 seconds to the leader and only 3 to Kwiatkowski which is a good sign for his chances in this race. Hopefully this means our fortunes are about to change and we will get a good result here as we desperately need one in our battle to avoid last and it would be nice to see the team put up a spirited defence of the title we won last year even if we've lost the defending champion due to his loan finishing.

Good first couple of stages for us though we will need some very I selective hilly stages to have a chance of some good GC performances |

Great job by Ilias! I remember him from my first season; he was one of the subtop puncheurs riding for Magna. Cool rider.

Ah yes another race with a ''half'' lineup from our side. Don't really have an opportunity to send any GC leader other than Hugh to a race like this.
Van Winden disappointing as the prologue favourite once again does not surprise me anymore. Wonder if there's any stat significantly letting him down or I'm again unlucky.
Bikex makes a good point. 80PRL beaten by a 74PRL
Surely this is the daily form thingy but I do not seem to have a lot of luck with that this season.
Also wondering wtf happened to Kreder in the sprint, was in good position

Not a bad 2nd stage for us there.
Vaugrenard surprisingly good there to finish 5th!
Also promising to see Cobo in 10th and his supporter Herrada 11th. While Bouhanni will be waiting for the real flat stage to do his job.
Looking forward to the next few stages

CT teams denying the PCT! It's sad though, that these two are some of the less active teams around
However this is shaping up as a very interesting event.

Kind of surprised that Kip wasn't dropped, but then he only managed to sprint to 101st. So far 3rd Oba is also a candidate to be dropped in this kind of stages, so no surprise seeing him loose a lot of time. Now we can finally focus on our leader Kiserlovski. Fingers crossed no break will win the next stage with a big gap like last year deciding the GC early. |

Matthews with a strong finish, but too bad placed when the pace uppened, 4th will at least give us some points from this race. Cool to see Kuboki leading in his home tour, and the Mountain TT are going to be really decisive if we get a boring stage tomorrow.
Good race so far, bring on the rest! |
