Nice to see us in the break for a change, and a good result from Olsson! Worrying that Meyer was so far down, hopefully it's not a sign for the coming days..

Strange that Westra dropped, because his hill stat is still pretty good. Must've had a bad day.
Hope the peloton wakes up in stage 2.

Thanks for doing this, tsmoha.
I was looking for a big resounding result here, from Costa, but this probably wasn't the best race to be targeting. Anyway, having him finish outside the top90 and with Reis being given the #1 bib on our team, this look good for total failure. The TTT should be goof fun as well, just not for us.
Looking forward for the completion of the event. Good luck everyone!

Satisfactory stage for Boily he made it into the group behind the leading 5 so although no time gain he is alert and attacking so happy enough flat stage and the TTT next so would like to see us in the break on the flat stage and a top 5 TTT |

Interesting stage, with the two front riders getting a nice gap. Nice to see us in the break again, a pity that Steensen wasn't strong enough to fight for the KoM-jersey.
Looked like a very poor race for us, until Juul-Jensen and Meyer suddenly sprinted to a decent result.
Thanks for another brilliant report, tsmoha

Another bad stage for the team, this time losing time on some favourites. Not allis lost though with 2 more hilly stages and perhaps an Impey win tomorrow.
Buff having a really good race here so far, and of course Gazelle are up there as well... you wouldn't know Ben Nasser was the same ability on the hills as Monfort at the moment. |

Do not like this so far, all we're doing is losing time on others, time that will be hard to recover in the TTT.

Still on the same time as 8th GC, so theres still hope dont know why we aren't in the breaks as we have been quite invisible thus far

Impey is the best sprinter in the race, and doesn't even sprint on the only flat stage
At least Ben Nasser attacked, but it wasn't successful and that was probably what stopped Impey from sprinting. This is a complete waste of racedays so far... |

It`s impressive how Schädlich fights stage for stage. The next stage is the TTT and I really need him there. If the injury weakens him there, my TTT chances are far far lower.
80/78/78/76/75/74/74/61 sounds very strong. Take the 80 away and it is only average. ;(
Good to see that Boom and Villella still belong to the first bigger group and with the two toughest stages yet to come, the TTT is the only chance of a decent GC result as my riders don`t join the break. |

@stage 2
Awesome job by Monfort! The guy just keeps on over-performing. Gaining 45 seconds on nearly all of his rivals is super helpful and equally impressive. Congrats to Buff for their amazing start to this tour.
@stage 3
Nice to see Monfort trying, but the stage just wasn't hard enough. Congrats to Bonsucro. That was quite a nailbiter.
Looking forward to the crucial TTT in stage 4. Hope it turns out that the hilly stat has influence, because that would play into our cards.

Happy to see Van Zyl in the break yeah he got swallowed up by the bunch but it's very promising for the future and he has one at our team so very happy with that.
78-77-76-74-72-70-69-61
for the TTT is not our strongest by i'm still hoping we can top 5 and put Boily in a good position for the stage that looks to suit him best |

Geschke finally tried to compete in a sprint
Seriously, I like the stage from my team's POV. Break, Dzamastagic attempt and top 5 by Geschke.
If only the other stages would go that way...

You call it average. I call it more than 15 stat points better than mine . In Average!

Awasome how the team has performed in this race so far. Two stage wins and 3 days with the lead jersey.
Now it's time to get back at our place as the TTT will be to much for our team...

Do you want to do a change Roturn?
Thanks Tsmoha for the reports!

Not a sight of a Caloi frame in the first two stages made me think this was going to be a race to forget. Hell, the Bonuscro gospel brothers featuring Moby were planning to record this song:
Spoiler
Oh Lordy, Roy is so bad
Oh Lordy, Roy is so bad
Don't nobody know why Roy is so bad
Don't nobody know why Roy is so bad
Read more: Moby - Natural Blues Lyrics
... then stage 3 happens! Roy shows himself well for the first time as a Bonsucro rider then, fortunately, Mansilla gets in the ideal position in the sprint and takes the win. That crazy bidding war with Scorchio starting to make more sense!
That has more than made this race for us.
* 3 breaks already for sutty, good race for him & good to see the RSA champ in this race. |

Better! Thought we could win it after leading at the second split but will take 4th, didn't expect that coming into the race.
Ben Nasser and Impey now poised to make a move just on the cusp of the top-10. Hopefully the last two stages can see them both at least get into that top 10. |
