Yea without Hugh we don't have much to do here
Hope for some attacks from our side, and maybe Kreder sprinting to a Top 10 in a later group... We'll see

Thanks Oleg for reminding me to make a prerace comment for this race.
There is not much to say with my team being one of the weakest puncher teams of the PCT. Meyin Wang will lead the team but with a HI stat of 75 I'll probably be happy with a top 25. My biggest hope is a rider in the break paired with a shitty AI. |

Impressive preview! So much insight and so well organized, thanks for that Oleg
This looks set to be a very interesting race, with all these many riders able to contest it. Then you have the possibility of a breakaway win which only goes to complicate predictions even further
Hopefully Costa can use his experience and bring this in the bag, but I wouldn't mind seeing LLS, our former rider, take this one either.

I've no idea what to expect from this race but I'm hoping Zardini can gain a lot of motivation from the Italian crowd and do something here. Either way it should be a good indicator as to whether or not we can expect a decent points haul from him on a regular basis and how early in the season I should start planning who I need to cut to turn this into next years CT winning squad.
P.S. I hadn't forgotten to make a pre race comment before now, I'd just been on a short holiday to France. Now to go back to catching up on what I've missed over the last few days.

We miss our win goal.
Third in this field is quite impressive though, and guarantees another nice points haul to round off a crazy month for us. We'll probably get some credit from the sponsors for a near miss as well.
Congrats to Puma on a nice win there for Kelderman. Also an amazing report Oleg, thanks for the great read. |

Hehe just as shit as I expected.
This is where we stand in hilly races without Hugh. I suppose that's fair.

Real bummer this race doesn't still get treated like a cobbles race at all, as a purely hilly course we got what would be expected, at least we were in the breakaway today.

Well, epic report then Some lovely screens/selection and a few nice gimmicks such as the GIF.. fortunatelly, the AI lived up to this quality. Would have loved to see McCarthy winning though. Did expect a larger group battling for the line, but the best puncheurs delivered.
Thanks Oleg and congrats to those who did well! Dowsett in particular

My team was rather shit here. Even with limited stats more was possible. At least breakaway.
Congrats to those who did well and thanks for the nice report.

Awesome report, Oleg! Loved everything about it, but our team result. The finish gif was very cool, too.
Win goal gone again, even by a bigger margin than last year.
Hope Di Maggio just had a bad day and we can expect more of him in races like that. Puma and BOI had strong teams today, obviously. The attack with 20km to go was way to early under these circumstances...
We'll be back!

Very cool battle of the bests there!
Already liked when my team helped a lot in the chase since that normally means that the leader feels strong when he is not #1 favourite anyway.
The attack of LLS came at a great moment. 8 km to go is good distance for an attack and nobody had a team mate with him. In such a situation an attack is always worth a try and I prefer to see him taking the risk of getting "only" 6th with a good chance to win over staying with the stronger puncheurs and finishing perhaps as 4th. This time he was unlucky as Kelderman and McCarthy were just stronger today.
6th is still a good result.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Happy with our performance here. First of all, Furdi exceeded expectations by finishing 5th in this strong field. And Hofland & Pozzato showed our colours with some nice offensive action before both grabbing respectable top 15 finishes.
Congrats to cio! Mostly due to Puma and Bank of Ireland, the peloton was strong today, which is quite rare this season. So deserved #1 and #2 finishes for them.

That's an entertaining report ahah. Loved it! You guys are really raising the bar with such innovative reports yet with such a good pace! Thanks Oleg and everyone else
Can't complain with Costa's 8th place, since there were many other suitable candidates. I find it worrying though, that he seems to be always caught on the back foot. Hopefully it's just a phase.
Congrats to the winner. Kelderman is already making himself noticeable so early in the season. I think the PCT is very balanced in the hilly department so any triumph in this terrain should be seen as very important imo.
And what about Gazelle! Have they even finished outside the top5 so far? They should be the leading team atm.

Cant be happy with two riders in the lower top 50 and no break appearance.
Congrats to Puma.
Great report Oleg. |

Best report of the year so far, absolutely loved it with geographical insight, the gif and that little podium romance. (thanks God it wasnt Sagan).
Well done Oleg!
Maybe the fact i visited many places where it takes place, like San Gimignano, Montcalcino or Siena this year helped me to get into report.
The race proved to be really hard, harder then many of the previous editions, so it was the best puncheur battling it out. Congrats Cio for the nice win!
