You know, some people say if you have a second tier stage racer, you should go to the C1 races with him...
I'm so happy I didn't
Nerz would've hardly made the Top 10 here either.
This will be very interesting to follow from a neutral perspective, although I am not absolutely neutral considering the three best teams in the division are here.
Nevertheless, it's hard to look past Machado and Keizer for this, but PCM knows how to prove me wrong

This is should be a very interesting race for neutrals. So many strong climbers / stage racers here that I am once again happy I dodged climbers once again
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

First time Brajko and Anton in action here, and I expect big things as they are gonna be the top scorers from the team throughout the season.
This field is incredible tough but hopefully Brajko will take advantage over the similar rated climbers with his awesome backup-stats.
Hard to predict the winner here, but Im positive Brajko can nab a top 3 with the strong support here.

After our good start to the season, time to be brought back down to our normal standards. Got Kwiatek here again but doubt he can do anything better than a top 10 in the overall with the long TT. Will still be looking forward to the hilly stage though to see if he can continue his Eritrea exploits.
Brajkovic or Keizer to win. Nice preview tsmoha. |

More and more I am convinced I made the best choice to stay out of the mountains
I think that in three years of Mangame never seen a Startlist as strong as this...
By the way why do they bother to bring a sprinter for this race ??? They did not play much PCM14 for sure, stage 4 is destined once again to end with a successful break

Great preview, almost missed it.
Hope Cataldo can use the hilly stage to make it a noteworthy result for us. Maybe sneaking in the top10 is possible.
First Vontobel start for Jocelyn Maillet, curious if he can repeat his Tachira-thing. Andrea Manfredi asked if he can go for a jersey... KOM or young rider, he's not picky.

With 72 TT and I assume the same in PRO 93rd and behind my other guys who are worse is a dreadful effort from Valls. Not the ideal start to this race.

Nepo slower than my unmaxed Greek riding for Bonsucro...
Not sure if this place reflects his stats, but I had hoped to see him in a slighlty better position.

Thanks for the report tmosha.
3rd and 4th surely a bit less than hoped but it`s okay.
I like a lot that Schädlich seems to start delivering. Last year he used to underperform in every TT. This year he showed 3 good ones already.
Unfortunate that both my starters had weaker weather conditions. But Cornu deserves it after his Bayern fail.
Hopefully Keizer in a top position is fighting for it on the hilly stage and we won`t see such seletion there as in the Tirreno or Eritrea hills. That said, those stages there looked harder than this Catalunya hills. |

Had hoped for a bit better in the prologue from Reinie, but results can sometimes be dodgy. Maybe he can sneak in for a top 5 on the TT stage. Now the real action awaits!

Brilliant. Winning the first stage of any race is a huge points grab and anything else I get from here on will just be a bonus.

Impressive start from Machado. Hope this means he's on good form!
TTs seem much more random this year. Sure, the best riders still keep winning these stages, but I feel there is an excessively wide range of the results which is intensely dependent on race day form.
Thanks for the report tsmoha

Decent stage for us. Rujano up into the top 10, and with the tendency to climb a bit more. |

My team did something, and almost succeeded!
Did not expect Kashechkin to go in the break, but I'm glad he did! Both him and Nepomnyachsniy are in good positions for a decent GC now

Wow. I can't believe that actually happened. This is literally the best MG moment of my team ever. In a goal race. I'm just lost for words, so here's the usual picture.
