Calling all new MG managers (and the currently ones as well). The 2018 season is slowly appearing on the horizon, so we will welcome any one who wants to join the MG Skype group.
Filled with daily MG chat, help and general banter, it is a nice add-on to the forum for all things MG.
If you want to be part of the group, just drop me a PM with your skype name, I will add you to my contacts and then to the group.
Please be aware that the group will not be a replacement for posting in the discussion threads on here. The chat group will NOT contribute to activity levels if questions are raised at any point in the season.
Roturn, SN and other MG big dogs and site admins are part of the group, so remember to behave as well.

Who doesn't love 2-3 pages filled in the general transfers discussion thread with people asking why can't they post their FA bids?

I won't be joining Skype group, Skype has gone to absolute shit as a program, cant have a chatting service take up 500mb of RAM anymore. Different story if you made a LINE group... |

Why not create a discord group? I think it's much easier to be a part of in there than skype. It's quite popular in the moment. Also if you are aware that some wrong people will join there, just send a link via PM to all managers in Man-Game. |

it is definitely possible to quote people, have you been on discord?
I have and have never figured it out, nor has anybody been able to tell me how, I'd dearly like to know though if it is possible.

I don't know how active the Skype group is these days or how much of a hassle it would be to change, but I also much prefer Discord to Skype. Discord is easier on the CPU and bandwidth and allows for much more customization within a server/group than Skype does.

You could mention people with @ which can be interpreted as a direct reply, or copy the post and put backticks (`) around to create code blocks that mimic quotes in Skype. I agree that Discord optimally should have had this feature, but it's relatively easy to adjust to life without it.

That’s hardly a solution though, if 200 posts have happened I don’t want to have to explain which specific post I’m talking about and who said it and if somebody makes 2 posts on the different subjects I want it to be clear which one I’m talking about. I use this feature on Skype all the time and get so frustrated not being able to use it on Discord, often I give up on the conversation because it’s so hard to reply to an old post.
