We need to score well here if we want any chance of taking a top 10 in the CT standings, hopefully we've brought enough riders that we'll end up with someone strong in a break or at least one of them being a legit threat.

Big up to TSM for the continued heavy-lifting being performed on the reporting side; great preview. The season finale showdowns continue!
We have a similar line-up as @ RCN, only switching Zabalo for Ibanez. Hope for a similarly aggressive performance with a little bit more payback in the GC to match (please).

One of the race I've been loking really forward to this season and my last goal race (top 5) should be achieveble. Slightly weaker lineup than expected here so would be extremly dissapointed to miss out on the podium again, especially to a breakaway yet again..
Regarding the victory battle, I think Rodrigues will take yet again, definitely one of the best and consistent riders this season, so wouldn't surprise if he endet up crushing everyone yet again. Those hilly stages fits extremly well in opposite of Arroyo aswell.

Eventful 1st stage, bad luck to those who suffered in the crashes.
Nice 2nd place from Lucas - he has often been asked to look after himself in sprints during stage races this year, and continues to show great ability to surf the lead out trains of others; no shame in being beaten to the line by Matthews. These sort of rides mean that even though he may be getting a wee bit long in the tooth, LS is likely to be offered the opportunity to join us on our PCT adventure next year.

well, shit... just what i wanted
Maybe this will allow us to be active in the breaks but you never know, it will be hard for us to salvage anything from this race now

Good roses my gc threats weren't caught out by the crashes, though losing Jiriakov means we are a decent climber down which might prevent Schurter getting much freedom to attack if he has to pull for Alizadeh or Saggiorato.

FFS..... again.
Find it funny we are amongst the unluckiest teams yet top the table at this stage in the season. Makes me think we could have won the title with a 150+ point gap, at least, will be difficult to finish 2nd now.
Still this is a race what will probably be decided by those attacks 20 KM out by 74/75 rated climbers: In Godoy we trust. |

Surprised my team came to sprint. Good job trying to make a train, but it didn't completely work in the end. Still, 3rd is a great placing for Sabatini and I am satisfied.

A big hurrah to fisher for keeping up with all of them! Kind of surprised Frazer didn't come along, but I suppose he got dropped.

AS expecetd no Westling to see in the finish, he did manage to avoid getting dropped though which to be frank was more than I expected.
Good to see Chris Anker up there - hopefully that means he's in good shape for the rest of the stages.

Meh, Hawkins continues to be very inconsistent, not a great final sprint from a good position.

Had hoped for a more selective hill in this stage. Given that it wasn't 5th is pretty decent for Pozdnyakov.

Great to avoid any gaps here! Not optimal that Rodrigues got some boni seconds but hopefully Arroyo will shadow him tomorow as I cant see us getting any time on him.
