Wow, that was close!
Amazing race by Di Maggio. Could very well have been over already when Monfort and Froome got away, but he took responsibility and brought them back, leaving the others behind while doing so. Thought he was going to lose it in the final meters, but luckily he just managed to pass Froome again before the line.
Craven also with a good ride, today, which is nice to see.
Thanks for the fantastic report!

Good to se Swedbank so far up in the favourites ranking. Hopefully Paajanen will do some good work in his final race for them.
Too bad we could not achevie those expections...
And Paajanen have done good work for us this year, thanks!
Argh, just 10th from Skujins was not as good as I hoped, but atleast Hoogerland took some points aswell getting 13th. |

5th is okay, especially after such an intense ride there. Really was scared about Bobo missing the crucial moves at a point. So no special, but a solid result after all.
Gratz, Sykkel and DD! Gazelle really collecting huge points most recently!

32 points. The ones Kelderman didn't quite get by just missing the Top 10 I hoped for/expected were gained by Herklotz instead
Man, that guy. Joins the right breaks and is the strongest remaining rider of them.
Actually, I am kinda happy he didn't get to lvl3.
This way he'll still be the 4th best mountain rider in my lineups and just another guy in the hilly races, so he should still have free reign to go in whatever break seems good. With 77mo/73hil, he would've been considered co-leader/luxury domestique and would probably do nothing until Nerz/Kelderman attacks and sit up after that.
This way, he can use his amazing secondary stats the best way.
Congratulations to Venchi and thanks for the great report!
Good to see most others in the Top 10 are from teams already way ahead in the rankings.

Very interesting race with a thrilling finish. Great report Selwink.
Though as usual, Dowsett is less than impressive.

Not the bang I wanted... 42nd isn't a nice way to end the season...
But at least Shaquille 'The Hottest Thing On Wheels' Sinclair got mentioned for the very first time in his career

Thanks! Going well indeed.
Very entertaining race! I love how Monfort opened the first big attack of the day and kept going strong until the end, securing a nice podium spot. Great ride once again! We'll certainly be looking to extend his contract.

Well, we put our goal low enough to actually succeed in this race. Even a break away for a change.
Races like this really make me want a big classic rider next year.

Sad that it ends even worse than Milano-Torino, though the profile was better-suiting.
Gratz to Di Maggio/Venchi and thanks for reporting, Selwink!

We've been on run since Tour Down Under
Great report Selwink, one of the best reported races and very decent gameplay giving all the drama. As said in Faso I don't mind not winning anymore though but this race would have been cool to win. Well done to Di Maggio very consistent this year.
