We are down, straight back to CT after a season. It was a valiant effort but I screwed it up before the season had even begun with my signings.

Well with 16 Race Days Remaining we should be able to go past Vontrobel. Certainly unlikely to get into the Top 3 but I will continue dreaming.

Top 15 as team goal, this might be pretty close in the end. Probably need one way to good result, from our last races.

Third incredible month in the row for us (top5 each month July-september), this time in so few race days, Britain was great for us even with so many breaks. We are even closing in our top10 goal and Magna, Repsol have third of our race days left, so everything is looking so good now, maybe i should fear Meiiji, AMEX Puma or Kazzinc closing from from behind.
Ignatiev finally entering the top10 and even when he will drop off again, he is saving our season together with Raboň in recent weeks.
Nice that top6 should be rewarded with promotion as the whole ,because they are cut above the rest this season, as we can see from that CSC-Jaguar gap.
Bottom part is still interesting and will support my secret favourites to stay at PCT. Good luck to all though.
Thanks for the update SN and all the reporters!

Great to see this update and much congratulations first to Quickstep - quality team and Alak now takes his second divisional title. It will be very interesting to see his strategy in the PT - who knows in a few years they could be up there.
Venchi, Heinekan, Bacardi bounce back and very nice to see Oz and CSC get there - in particular CSC replacing the other dying Spanish team. Obviously all six teams will face a battle to stay up.
I do think one or two extra PT teams who are not in relegation spots may not continue - so I think Gazelle and/or LVC could find a spot open up perhaps? Metinvest enjoy coming from behind as ever - would be incredible and pleasing to me to see them in the top 10. They should be among the favourites (no pressure Avin )to push for promotion next season though of course the relagated teams will take some beating (that said a relegated team has not won the PCT(or its equivalent) for some time.
The relegation battle is probably all about what Boeing can do - fantastic from them to still be in the fight. People scoffed at my prediction that Kenya would struggle - but it is them as most danger I think.
The CT battle should be interesting with relatively few gaps - being involved in Olly's EPIC game shows me there are several really good active guys in this division so really looking forward to a number of them promoting to replace the inactive PCT lot. Olly and BikeX obviously run their games but there are some really golden contributors all over the place in there!
It must be massive consolation to Bonsucro that they still lead the division despite a very unlucky/disappointing Tour of America. Little tip for them get rid of Manarelli!

We are top. For the first time this season too. The top 3 goal looks within our grasp now, if we get some good breaks with our strong squads in Utah and RCN we could hold this position.

100+ points lost at Tour of America, I might have to agree with you about Manarelli. He has been the victim of the poor sprint AI (which favours riders like Thorsen/Guillen) and only has 3 wins this season. Not too good when he is been the virtual sprint favourite in 10+ others flat stages.
If one thing has saved us it is our squad depth, riders like Paulinho/Losada/Soto Pereira/Borges have scored very well. We really needed this as you can't say any of our top riders (Nicacio, Godoy, Manarelli, Txurruka) have performed as expected consistently.
Crazy to look at some of the teams and see where they are in the rankings. ONCE and Euskaltel could feasibly be around 10th and below whereas Tom-Tom could be in the battle for 4th, goes to show how much luck is helping/hindering many teams.
Pleased to be covering two races which will have so much anticipation for the relegation/promotion battles in both divisions (Tour de Faso, Yekaterinburg). |

Thanks for some nice words Smowzy, top10 would be incredible after being amongst relegation teams after June, just three months back. And it would also mean at least 3/5 goals matched with one not so big miss at Tour of Ukraine (Japan top5 still in play too with Raboň), first time in Metinvest history that positive goal summary can happen.
I feel no pressure for possible promotion push next year, especially because i am not too sure if i want to promote. I just like PCT racing too much and i am not sure if racing every race without planning would be so much fun.
But we will see, severel strong teams will demote and Puma will become super strong and there is transfer season madness, where i will suck, so we will see, i just want to develop my talents and that is what matters most for me.

I'm a little disappointed with the current classification. After a promising start the team could not get outstanding results, falling to the bottom of the table, I am still pleased with the peaceful season we have achieved

Another really poor month has cost us here, getting to that elusive 20th place looks tricky now. Let's just say we're thinking about next season already

17th is okay after my fears to potentially even relegate at the midway point of this season
7 races left, 6 of those with Puma, 3 of those (or 14 race days to be exact) with Ciolek.
Thus I am slightly optimistic and say that even as high as finishing 10th (thus achieving our goal after all) isn't impossible.
I think all positions down to 14th or 15th still give us some goal points towards that, so finishing Top 15 definitely has to be the minimum goal for October.
In the individual standings, it looks really tough apart from Ciolek's good season, but on the other hand that should make for some good renewals wages and being able to afford the best possible roster for next season is top priority over 2014 results.
Funny though how even into late fall, Herklotz still racked up more points than Kelderman
Last but not least, early congratulations to everyone who can already prepare for Pro Tour

Looks like we are settling for 5th, which I am very pleased with. Obviously I was hoping to be a title contender after that amazing season start, but for some reason we were not as strong after February. Still, promotion and (hopefully) completed top 5 goal is the most important thing.
Looking forward to the races the coming month. With Di Maggio and Van Stayen having quite some race days left, I have not entirely given up on 4th place, either!

I'm glad we started the season well because from June on we've had relegation form. Still, if we can complete our top 10 goal and avoid promotion I'll be happy. |

Should be safe for 22nd, which is far from ideal, but when you consider my team doesn't have any real stars I can't be unhappy. Started the season convinced we would go down, which isn't going to happen. Would not have felt bad if we were, but the fact we stay up means we can keep Shaquille, Kyriakos and Oleksandr Golovash in our team without hurting their training at all.
Prevar will finally join the squad after being loaned out for 2 consecutive years, and that's something I've been looking forwards to. He won't be a star either, but he should be a solid points scorer.
Looking at next year's team I think we actually might need a top-notch rider, but to be honest I do not feel like getting one really, I'd prefer training either Topchanyuk or Ulanowski to stimulate the local talents we can benefit from.

That´s this season I guess. About where I thought but had hoped to be some places higher.
Looking forward to the offseason/nextseason |

While I'm planning on continental, there is the odd chance we can still avoid it. It's pretty irrelevant to me, as I'm happy to race either way. Faso will indeed be crucial - the only thing that I can see save us from relegation is if Maksimov has a massive ride there and wins several stages and the points jersey - as well as Thomas failing. Luck hasn't really been on our side this year so I doubt she'll show up anytime soon.

we've definately had a poor month, failing to get 10pprd and slipping outside the top 10. Hopefully we can make good use of our remaining race days and storm back up the table and complete that goal.
If so, then we look likely to promote and I'll have to reassess my plans for next season as I've only planned for CT so far.
We'll likely come straight back down again if we go PCT next year as I'll need new climbers next year and we are planning on tightening our focus area so that will leave us with a lot less targets.

And one place down the Minions go, one place more and there's nothing more to go down towards. The end of the well is near...

Again a wonderful month! If we keep this form we are major contenders for 8th, which apparently is now likely to be the promotion barrier. That would be insane!
