well then, ONCE was okay for the whole season except Tour? why Lotto can't do the same, as ONCE or Tinkoff did last year...
Thank you Andy for everything!

The first bit of news (well a prediction) is that Nibali will win both the Giro and Tour in 2015.
When he wins both, I'll remind you of this post.
Let me remind you NOW, that you still did not understand the topic of this thread... |

Big news today.
As I thought UCI did bit of job and here we are - IAM will be a WT in 2015, reports from biciclismo which are reliable. And just to remind all their transfers so far.
Clement (Belkin), Coppel (Cofidis), Degand (Wanty), Devenys (Giant), Pantano (Colombia) Van Genechten (Lotto) and two neo pros Pellaud and Chevrier. Very solid riders for their leaders and most of these can be more than just domestiques too.

Making my own prediction:
A French rider (probably Pinot, Peraud or Bardet) podiums in the tour, likely with Quintana the winner (I don't particulary want Quintana to win, but he's not racing the Giro (I think).
Last year (March) a picked Peraud to podium in the tour.

This is still a "News" thread.
There will be a season prediction thread in January most likely. In this thread everybody is supposed to make his own predictions, then come back 1 year later to laugh about it.

Big news indeed.
Though, I think that they have got a lot of solid domestiques, but they need a leader. I mean, Chavanel is getting old, Haussler can be a leader in a strong continental team but not a leader in a WT team... It is the situation of Europcar more or less.

Well, they need additional signings anyway to be a WT team, but I'm not sure who's still on the market?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Horner
Samu could be good option too. Frank and Reichenbach for the Tour. And Samu for Giro/Vuelta. Reichenbach should be improving and capable of decent result in Ardennes. Chava offers chances in one week stage races and classic and in sprints they will have Pelucchi, Enger and Van Geneechten. Not bad at all in my opinion.
( about leader I think don't underestimate Frank. He had amazing season this year with 4th Romandie and 2nd in Suiise and if not that Tour crash I am sure he would have been close to Tour 10 )

Pretty good news in my opinion, this means that there will be more UCI teams and less wildcard teams in the Grand Tours, |

I would rather say that Garmin is disbanding, as the merged team will use name Cannondale, right?

No. Basically Cannondale is disbanding and Garmin are taking their sponsor. Slipstream sports will still own Garmin like before.

Seems like the Telegraaf -yeah, who believes that newspaper?- was wrong.
