How can UCI forget to update such an important thing 
Also, yeah, never heard about this before today so I assume its just the spanish sites exaggerating with the rumours.
But yeah, neither Wikipedia or Pcs nor CQ report this categoey change, i guess thosr would be much more trustworthy than any spanish paper 'lol:

Well not the first hick-up from UCI, and taking a siesta seams to do the trick gents.
I am convinced, but my files stay the same of course. Unless they have not put the wrong numbers on their regulations. I stay on it mates....
I do my best to get this issue as close to real numbers as possible. Not always easy.

Well mates,
I got this new Tour of Taiwan to add when you run Lofqvists new great Tour of Taiwan, recently made.
Always glad for comments, perhaps any ideas on adding money on some of these XML files. Only some of the top races have money included, and sadly they are in some cases very wrong.
My concern is that I am not 100% sure if the money in the XML file supersede the money in the STA_uci_superprestige table.
Anyone that know for sure will be heard ....
My next plans are to dig into this issue, since many many races have very different prize money than are stated in this STA_uci_superprestige table inside the DB.
Perhaps some have wishes for a race have I forgotten. If I can dig up a roadbook or anything I will try my best.

Well, I don't know about that, but I would very much applaude adding money in the xml files, so I can use them in PCM12. |

Do you mean in terms of prize money? If so, that isn't possible, but you can just need to adjust the budget in an editor if you want more money etc.

Yeah I mean prize money. In the original xml files of PCM12 there is also the prize money. In the xml files of clamel there isn't. When he talked about adding money on the xml files, I thought that concerned prize money. If that isn't possible it would be a pity. But why are you sure it isn't possible?
edit: I tested clamel's xml files in PCM12 and it worked fine - the lack of prize money made me go back to the old files though.

Well, don't know too much of older versions of the game, but I am working on the Vuelta Espana XML file for the moment.
That file and the Tour and Giro (and some others too) have prize money in the XML files. In the table I mentioned you got the basic prize money (STA_UCI_superprestige) and the UCI points.
My concern was that if you got prize money in the XML file would that supersede the prize money in the database table.
There has to be a reason why prize money is in those XML files that was even included in he gaem of pcm14.
Sure folks can alter the table in the DB, but that is very restricted. It's like the point system, a race has to follow a classificatiion.
Perhaps these xml files are leftovers from older games, so it's really true that money can't be fixed, or changed for each race.
That would be a pitty.
For a fact the prize money for 2014 Vuelta was very much different from what the game gives up. Many other prizes are also out of wack.
Vuelta even have this extra nice touch of having different winner prize for how high the KoM is. The higher, more money.
Lets see who can claiified this to at least 90% certain.
Rob81, thanks for testing them in an old version. I was pretty sure they would work but one never knows. Lets hope it will not be different in newer versions.
Well lets hope they even add the split between Rush and Points classes, that sometimes is used by some race organizers.

Hoping that some will publish a brand new version of Tour of Yorkshire.
Now I got the new XML for this race, and for any creators out there. Have a look at the KoMs specific. All are the same points, so probably category same
Also a minor update of Tour de Azerbaidjan for 2015. New is that they have scratched the bonus seconds on both finish and sprints.
Enjoy. (the new Vuelta 2014 comes soon enough. Most check the prize money)

I assume that this might have been discussed earlier.
The different point system for the Giro
Something that can't be fully implemented in PCM sad enough.
The problem is the different intermediate sprints, that are different on on tages.
Very much like having no points on hilly and/or mountain classified stages.
It works for the finish but I see no way to put this into intermediate sprints.
Have anyone a suggestion, so that we can get nearly everything perfect.

Flat stages intermediate sprint: 20-16-12-9-7-6-4-3-2-1
Hilly stages intermediate sprint: 10-6-3-2-1 (used today in xml)
Mountain stages intermediate sprint: 8-4-1
