Not satisfied with the result of Geschke. He should have tried to follow those attacks...
Now, it all about stage wins but good GC and point classification results are still possible for him...
@Cio: Thanks. I also liked to see one of my favourite PCT teams snatching up a needed classic win lately
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Okay, Matteo Montaguti with an attack that wasn't necessary..., but at least our leader role is cleared. Another signature performance by Marcel Wyss raises hope... after the prologue didn't went that well.
Team looked strong today and should take more responsibility the final stages.

My leader Ito 15th today that's not bad I guess, but after the bad prologue he is now far down in the GC, I hope there will be some more gaps on the next stage so he might will climb the ranking a little bit. |

Great to see Geschke getting those important bonus seconds. It gives him a good GC position for the next stages...

Good to see Cerny trying, a bit disappointed he was the first to drop though.
Maybe De Greef can do something at an intermediate sprint to win a few places tomorrow? We'll see..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Nearly Mendes. Nearly. Still, looking set for third (I don't think anyone can stop Geschke getting past on bonus seconds), which is definitely good.

Sad to see Mendes pass, but fourth is still a good result. Hope for some action the final kilometres tomorrow.
Somewhat surprising how Lejman performs... almost without secondary skills. What a strong showing!

Nice to see Geschke taking yet another win. He must be one of the most successful MG riders in terms of years in game and wins.
Only his 2nd MG season and already more than 15 wins I guess.
Feels a bit bad to not longer have him with my team as he surely could have done well in the Giro for example. That said, I wanted to see him winning and not sure if the PT field would suit him then. |

Wow that was some show there!
Very happy to see that, great amount of GC points gained there too.

Great to see Mendes finish this in second GC wise, he keeps on scoring good points. 15 PPRD surely makes him (one of) the best rider(s) in the divison.
And O'Brien clearly going for the team-intern combatative award, which is of course great for us, showing off his NC jersey.

What a stunning performance on this last stage from my team
Absolutely brilliant and amazing leadout from both Hansen and Boivin.
Too bad that Boivin is only loaned but with Hansen still developing and also Dzamastagic in the team the future leadout seems secured already.
Nice to see us climbing in all individual classification due to this stage which results in many extra points for us!

Was a good race for us, the team pretty much achieved what was asked for.
Gratz to Lejman and Geschke... was soccer-cycling as it's best.
And a big thanks @The Rider for the entertaining reports!

I think our whole race here can be summed up by the changing wind in the prologue. If Zoidl wasn't unlucky there we would have had a top 10 but we'll have to settle for 15th on GC instead.

Incredible race for us. The team controlled the race and Lejman delivered.
Thanks Rider for the reports!
