After a quiet time in Langkawi the Eddie Stobart boys are hoping for a better performance here |

Same applies for Vontobel!
Hoping to get Michael Schär within Top15.
Thanks to roturn, who seems to be in "drudge" mode. Previews and stages (in an amazing quality/output ratio!) appear faster than I was able to read them the last days.

I raced the 2012 edition and it was the final stage (which had no cobbles) that proved decisive with a breakaway taking it - with Giaux getting the win from the breakaway.
Sounds promising for Lebris. He's good at grabbing a good GC from a break in important races, it seems(BeNeLux)

I'd just like to add my thanks as well. Without them the game would be stalled pretty badly right now. Big thanks.

Yes, thanks to roturn! He must be tired of reporting bunch sprints soon though. Hopefully we will see some more here though

Thanks for the thanks.
Actually not tired of sprints. Not having time for the longer to report hilly or mountain stages at the moment. So I am happy with quite a few sprinter loaded races at the moment.
So it`s good to see tsmoha taking the less sprinter friendly races.

Well, you see its not that hard when he rides for the better team
Seriously, I'm very pleased with 5th place on the stage, lets see how things go from now on!

2nd isn't too bad, but I hope Reus can beat Ford in the longer TT. Now for Sonnery to try and top 30 the flat stages |

That's a good result from Ligthart. I'm ok with Holloway not doing so hot in relation to the others in the prologue. I think he should go well in the sprints.

First personal goal achieved, yeah! Ford as the obvious favorite, but those short TTs can be close as hell, so i'm happy he made it. Now Goss for the stage to make Ford keep his shirt plus yellow-bonus as long as possible

Not a great start, already a win and podium needed to catch up. Hopefully he can do well.

Oh dear Tennant. Quite an under performance there.
But as in Kenya, it is a former Vesuvio rider winning, so that is good to see! Can Ford avoid getting dropped? I suppose if Awang can win Langkawi stages in this game, anything is possible

40 seconds was expected, but is still a lot. No way to Top 3 the overall if I add double of that in the other TT as well.
Now for the hopefully fun part though...

23 seconds isn't much, but it will probably not enough to hang on the TT specialists. Well, bring on the sprint stages now please! |

Mixed feelings about the start.
Michael Schär wasn't nearly able to match the times of the best CT-TT-riders Stannard and Elijzen like in New Zealand. But we're optimistic that a better performance in the second, longer time trial will make him gain more positions than he'll lose to the sprinters.
Claudio Imhof with an outstanding prologue. Even if can't keep his place we can hope for extra ranking points due to the young rider classification.
Armindo Fonseca said he's feeling great and promised to deliver at least a Top10 in this amazing sprinters pack.
Curious how this race will develop, guess a TTler will win.
