Thanks! Great preview Alakagom, really a stacked start list. And certainly nailed my team plan for basically every race that isn't flat. Now hopefully that depth can pay off.
The uphill finish is certainly not our favorite, we don't mind the hills, just would rather finish somewhere flat where our sprinters could do their thing.
Ultra excited to get racing under way!

Lovely preview Alak, it's going to be great race here. We do expect some Top 10 place here.

Nice preview indeed. Was a little bit afraid of the length in the hill, so I ended up with Bugge as my captain. Hope it will turn out good.

Ironically, despite Mehr-Wenige and Ilias doing well, last year's race should have suited those puncheurs with a good MO as well as HL.
This year, it has been possible to choose the MO/HL rating again, so it is definitely one for the hill stat. As I would have told you, had anybody asked me!

I'm glad I decided to switch plans and not sent Geschke here as that startlist is as strong as expected maybe even better.
Now, my goal is to get a top 25 finish which would be worth one point and i hope to see our riders in attacks.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

There's not much hope in my team succeeding, but at least their families get to see them on TV.

Looking forward to this!
Great preview Alak. Tough startlist, but convinced Duggan can do something. Or Toribio. Or Mate.

Interested to see how Lejman will fare in this competition. Could be a brilliant move from Barca, but probably more likely to struggle like Barrio did last year
Could come down to him vs. Mendes, I think.

Yes the season is starting!
Very nice preview Alakagom. I would be more than happy with a Top 10 from Feillu in this race, gonna be interesting to see how he handles the steeper sections.

I hope he will do well since he will be riding all the hill races from C2... In my opinion he's the key of our salvation in PCT.
Spoiler Ironically racing CT races

Very loaded field compared to last year, should be a really hard race and an early taste to see his dominant Mendes can be.

He should do better than Barrio did, I reckon

Good point. This confirms what I already suspected: the C2 hilly races are getting much more attention than last year.

No C2 hilly races for me this year... learned the hard way that you have to be really good to be successful with the fewer amount of points available (plus Barrio is no longer eligible ).
I'll be interested to see if ggDonovan has better success than I had.

Mixed feelings, but a bit more disappointed than satisfied.
Could've been much better from Martinez especially, but Bole on 14th and Kiserlovski on 19th - I'll take it.

Oh no. This is bad.
40th at best, Duggan & Toribio missed the split. Ouch.
Good job by Bekmanis, but wished for a better start.

It was very unlucky, especially as Toribio looked pretty strong in particular at the end of the race, it was a fair share of bad luck, but across the man-game season that luck should balance out with some decisions going agaisnt you, and with some for you

For a race I wasn't targeting with a pretty sorry climbing team, I can be satisfied with a top 15 and better yet..
The first attack of the Continental season! That's how we show what kind of team we are! Way to go Jesper!

Nice report as ever Alakagom
Gaimon with a tremendous attack, it at least seems like PCM 13 may offer us some exciting hilly stages (ignoring the 'peleton gives up situations :/). You'd have to say that In-n-out went all out for Gaimon - with their next highest finisher being 47th, 5'00 back.
I don't think I'm going to like this trend of FCB scoring well in C2 races - 23 points is a decent day out for FCB.
