I leave for a two-week vacation in 6 hours, so even though I expect to have internet access, I don't want to risk anything.
Bongiorno joins Puma from Iberia, and Daniel joins from Evian as well.
Additionally, I asked felix_29 to join with his three eligible Germans.
If he accepts, this would be what I field.
Team Puma - SAP
Wilco Kelderman
Tom Dumoulin
Mario Vogt
Jasha Sütterlin
Francesco Bongiorno (from Iberia)
Maxime Daniel (from Evian)
Fabian Schnaidt (from Sram)
Michel Koch (from Sram)
Yuriy Vasyliv (from Sram)
If felix declines, I'm open for someone who wants his few riders to be in the race.
Skilled puncheurs or climbers would be preferred though to support Kelderman, who is a favourite for the hilly stages and Bongiorno, a decent guy for the overall.

I am totally fine with Senechal riding on the Wiggle - Pendleton team or any other teams should he find another option, and same goes for Edmondson. Of course, I can always work them into a team of my own, but Wacko can decide for the two loanee on Meiji.
Right now, these 3 riders are available to fit into another team:
Tomohiro Kinoshita
Wataru Mutsumine
Chen Shikai
I'd love to try for an Asian focus, but I'd also be willing to take on some of the riders from teams with only 1 or 2 teams, as part of an extremely mixed team.

I'd like to nominate a Wiggle - Pendleton Cycling Training squad, headlined by Mattia Cattaneo and Tim Kennaugh.
Of course pending that Wacko would care to join forces, and that other squads don't want either of our loaned out riders.
The proposed squad would be:
Mattia Cattaneo - Wiggle Professional Cycling Team
Moreno Moser - Metinvest-Emirates (Wiggle)
Andrea Dal Col - Vespa-Aprilia Racing (Wiggle)
Mark Christian - Jaguar - Eritel (Wiggle)
Tim Kennaugh - Pendleton's
Joshua Edmondson - Meiji - Cannondale (Pendleton's)
And space for Wacko's other riders should Meiji and MTN not want either:
Florian Senecal - Meiji - Cannondale (Pendleton's)
Alexey Lutsenko - MTN - World Bicycle Relief (Pendleton's)
Cattaneo and Kennaugh are 2 of the 3 best Mountain riders in the race - so for the sake of competition, it wouldnt be ideal to see them in the same team

Nominating my riders:
Zabel
Haugard
Zepuntke
Bru
Predatsch
Shiselov (loaned in)
Also taubel if allianz does not claim him
If anyone wants to team up I got space for 2 (3) more riders, would prefer string flat/leadout riders for zabel. Considered asking levi, but might be more exsiting to have the top sprinters on different squads a rider like le bon (bushwackers) could be nice

They can ride for whoever claims them if they need extra riders.
Do you want to join Santander? We can get a Spanish team going with Iberia and Barca if they want?
I nominate Gonzalez Salas, Insausti and Ablenado.

Don't have any Spanish riders eligible so you guys don't need to look at me
But i'll be closely following the Spanish team to see which riders I should target come transfer season

Well, seen as Wiggle aren't an option, I'd propose a team with Meiji (and anyone who wants to join in and fill the spaces):
Tomohiro Kinoshita (Meiji)
Wataru Mutsumine (Meiji)
Chen Shikai (Meiji)
Josh Edmondson (Meiji - on loan from Pendleton's)
Florian Senechal (Meiji - on loan from Pendleton's)
Tim Kennaugh (Pendleton's)
Alexey Lutsenko (MTN - on loan from Pendleton's) that's if aidan doesn't mind
Anybody want to put another two in? |

Yeah, that works the best Wacko. I'll team up with you. A climber and some nice support from my riders.
Confirmed by Meiji

Well Kennaugh/Shikai isnt much better than Cattaneo/Kennaugh Shikai being a realistic podium candidate.
Id prefer it if
Cattaneo
Kennaugh
Dombrowski
Shikai
Mat Senan
G. Bennett
Kirsch
Elissonde
all had different teams if possible. The fact that the majority don't have many teammates could hinder that of course. But since all are in different teams to start with, it would be unfortunate to see some of them combine together.
In the sprints the only important thing is that Matthews/S.Bennett/Zabel are separated, and from Heine's post, that looks very likely

I'd like to nominate
Marco Haller (decent leadout)
Daniel Paulus (domestique)
Andrea Hofer (TT rider/domestique)
From my loanees, both Puma and HTC have given the use of:
Arnaud Demare (sprinter extraordinaire)
Zico Waeytens (decent puncheur)
Have not talked to Milka but
Petr Vakoc
Michal Kolar
both could use the experience even if I'm not too fussed about them actually riding, they can ride for Milka if they are desired there.
My preference would be to join up with a team that could give Demare a little support for the sprints as he is probably one of the better sprinters in the Avenir field. My jersey our yours, doesn't particularly matter to me, but i'd like to get my austrians/Demare/Waeytens in the race together if possible.

Well, if it didn't work out with Wiggle, Armavia would like to offer to ride together with Meiji. If not, maybe an african oriented squad would like to team up with the following?
(INA) Pranata Jimmy PFG-Armavia
(ETH) Grmay Tsgabu Gebremaryam PFG-Armavia
Abraha Tesfay PFG-Armavia
May also have the following two available, depending on the decision of Team Credexbank.
Fominykh Daniil
Bormatenkov Sergey |

Sure I would do that, although Blanco is a Mexican. It's all Spanish speaking

Michael Matthews and Ethan Weiss are available for teaming. I think Matthews might be one of the favorites in the sprints and Weiss will be good for flat and hilly stages.
I'd love to have Matthews on my team here, since he rode for us last year. Not sure if they're still available, but haven't read a post yet, which claims them for another team..
So just let me know, Oz Cycling would take both of them.

Me and Valverde321 have come to an agreement where the following riders will team up in the Meiji Jersey;
Tomohiro Kinoshita
Wataru Mutsumine
Chen Shikai
Muhamad Adiq Othman
Gregory Hugentobler
Stefan Kung
Benedikt Mundle
Gabriel Chavanne
and if I've counted correctly that should make a team of 8 with 1 free space.

I would like to nominate my 5 riders and, if I am given permission, the 2 riders I have out on loan. This would give a team of 7:
William Maesen
Joeri Stallaert
Mathieu La Lavandier
Maxime La Lavandier
Guillaume Van Keirsbulck
Frederick Frison (from De Berg)
Tim Wellens (from Kappa)
I would be willing to take 2 more riders from some other team as long as they are from Belgium, France or the Netherlands.
