Nice ride Efimkin! He is still doing exactly the same what he did for my team at times when I were in CT.
Congrats to fenian, maybe this could be finally the year for Vespa..

It's strange how much better the AI is in hilly classics compared to hilly stages.

I know I wasn't expecting much from this race but I did think we might be able to at least get someone in the top 100, safe to say that was a complete fail by us.

My plan for this race, went downhill after seeing this start list. If I had hopes of a top 10 being possible, now I think at best I'll have to content myself with a top 15 or 20..
Honestly, i am a bit surprised for how many C1 races you have signed in Mehr-Wenige, as there are tons of better/similar punchers in every PCT race he enters, while he would imo rule the CT hilly races with Weening (i have no point score table in my head, is for exaple 5th-10th in PCT better than CT podium?).
In fact I made some mistakes in planning the season, but being my first participation in Man-Game think it perfectly natural. In the next season is something that I will try to improve. Still I can not complain of what he has done so far.
Maybe in this race i expected more than 14th place, but could not provide that many top riders were here, on top of having another race similar at the same time.

More or less as good as it could get! Obviously a shame to closely miss out on the victory, but second place is better than I expected. Makes this a great success when added together with the excellent finish from Taborre and Salerno.
Top class work with the report as usual, Count.

Rothaus back in reality I guess.
A 22nd is a bit less than I had hoped for but on the other hand I never expected very much from this race as the focus was clearly on Lugano. |

Enjoyed this race and report, plenty of attacking and this pic...
With these three great CTour punchaers riding up to the finish built up the tension. Big statement by Ginanni (and indeed Pozzovivo) that Vespa are here to win big this year.

I breathed a huge sigh of relief when Ginanni managed to hold them off. Very tense finale. |

Can't complain with a podium. Nice report too - you have much more patience than me in following the early attacks

Nice report indeed and dominating win from Ginnani, this was his race to loose right from the start. Vespa are clear promoters this year, with two of the best riders in the division.
Classics AI is really nice change to hilly stage races, but this was special race with its lenght and difficulty + insane pace for the first tenths of kilometers.

So close! but hey, my team was active and Zaini gave me a pretty decent result. Hatanaka seemed good as well!
Great reporting too. The screens and writing were well done.

Interesting race, but even after a million attacks it came down to a 25-man sprint and barely any splits.
Sucky result by Sinkewitz, but I'm glad to see Ginanni on top rather than e.g. Jiao or Zaini who somehow managed to beat Sinkewitz |
