I MEAN Teams like
MTN,Drapac,Tirol Cycling Team, ARBÖ Wels Gourmetfein,
WSA Viperbike Kärnten, Team Exergy, Team Optum, Bissell Cycling and Azad University Cross Team.
Cyanide created a continental tour and so many teams aren´t included in your DB!
This is a bug for me ! Cyanide has them included ! |

Cyanide has created a continental tour, and added 41 Continental teams. The PCMDaily DB has 43 Continental teams, so we have 2 more. There are 153 teams registered in UCI as "Continental", so there's more than one possibility to choose a list of approximately 40 teams.

I think that not being able to see guys like Dombrowski in the TOC sucks. makes it really unrealistic. But i get it.
Anyway, how do you pick the teams then?

So just re Cio's question if I opened both db's on Excel editor, I can just copy the parts of the tables for team MTN and others and paste it in the PCM.daily db? And assuming no conflicts etc. it will work?

Another thing that's unrealistic is to see Dombrowski in 2 American races in the whole season - because that's the number of American races in the PCM11 DB
I repeat: this first version is only a conversion from the 2012 DB (minus stages), therefore the teams are the same as the 2012 DB for PCM11. In PCM11, the calendar for most teams that currently are in the Official DB and not in PCMDaily's was nearly nonexistent - almost no races in which these teams participate in real life. I'll take for example 3 mentioned teams and the races they did a podium this year according to CQ:
MTN - Qhubeka
Spoiler Race | Present in PCM11 DB | Ronde van Zeeland Seaports | No | Tour of Eritrea | No | Circuit de Wallonie | No | Ronde van Overijssel | No | Tour de Bretagne | No | Tour du Maroc | No | Tour de Gironde | No | Flèche du Sud | No | Tropicale Amissa Bongo | No |
AC Sparta Praha (both 2011 and 2012 results, to make some more number)
Spoiler Race | Present in PCM11 DB | An Post Ras | No | GP Chantal Biya | No | Tour de la Guadeloupe | No | Course de Solidarnos | No | Ronde van Overijssel | No |
Bontrager - Livestrong (same as ACSP - 2011 and 2012 results)
Spoiler Race | Present in PCM11 DB | Tour of the Gila | No | Giro della Valle d'Aosta | No | Tour de la Guadeloupe | No | Triptyque des Monts et Châteaux | No | Tour of Wellington | No |
So, as you can see, no race in which these got a podium in 2011/2012 was even present in the PCM11 DB, and there was few sense to add them to take part on 2 or 3 races that they have actually taken part irl. However, some of these races have been added by Cyanide in PCM12 (with fake stages, but anyway), like the Circuit de Wallonie and Tour de Bretagne. Therefore it makes more sense to add them now, and it's why that's one of the things we're keeping in mind for the next version Hope that has clarified it more
And, if that has not answered it yet, baseball, that's about the way we pick teams: quality/popularity of riders (not necessarily cool jerseys valverde ), and their race calendar. And it keeps about the same idea for new races (in this case, the number of teams that take part irl that are present in the DB).

Plus, I agree with Valv. I don't think that leaving good, developing rider is good for the game. I believe taht if you have ISD Cont, Itera Katusha, Rabobank Cont, Leopard Cont, and such, you should have Chipotle and Botranger. Obviously my American bias shows, but there are plenty of .1 and .2 european races, so why not the American ones? And Botranger/Trek as well as others are always in official release, and they are always literally deleted fromt he database. It's not like they had to to added.

Sweet. I will wait for the next version just in case you add MTN and Sparta Praha (pretty please) So that I dont waste my time ( I mean its not a waste but you guys would do a better job and less chances of crashes sooo...)
But if not, I think I will be adding a bunch of fun teams

If you're talking about the lack of American races - blame the stagemakers, not us

A bug that I found, not sure if its a bug or not
The multiupload links aren't working. I get redirected to "The Internet vs. Hollywood" pledge site. Whats wrong with it.
uTorrent for 5 hours and only on 2.2% average speed of 5.7 kb/s

I figure come tomorrow morning (or next time Crue logs on) all these posts apart from maybe Cio's will be deleted as they are not bugs....
So I feel that the cool levels of jerseys should be a factor on if the team will be added or not. Sparta Praha's are amazing, and they have some Czech talents Plus MTN, how can you leave them out?
Also a bunch of those other East European teams are very interesting, and teams like Bissel, Exergy would be nice.
I can make North America tour stages if its wanted so that AMerican CT teams have a proper race schedule, and then maybe a few more Teams can be added

@valverde321: I also feel most of these will go soon, but we don't have a "Questions and Answers" thread or something like that, so it's understandable why people are posting here
Has Sparta Praha's 2012 jersey even been made? Cyanide's one is fake
I think it's unlikely we'll add a bunch of East European teams. The American/British teams are already much likely to come back + some other teams (like some of the ones in Cya's DB). But the DB already has 83 teams, and the PCMDaily DB isn't a Giant DB - we'll very unlikely go past 100 teams.
North American races would be good to have if you want to make them Tour of the Gila, Battenkill, Philadelphia Championship and Univest GP are basically the needed American races. Then there are the Canadian ones which I assume you know which ones
@hazzy: do you have the latest patch? Isn't the .cdb file located in My Docs/PCM12/Mod/Database?

Since you guys decided to destroy the bug report thread, I opted for renaming it instead and make a new thread for Bug Reports - which is now here: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....d_id=23802

It should be there, but if it isn't, you can download the DB files from the 1st post of this thread. |

Part 1 is still not ready, and since I'm going to sleep now, it won't be posted until tomorrow. |

So does it even make sense starting a career with this pack? How big are the career bugs? |
