There was a pretty fun bug I believe in 2011 or 2010 that a whole crop of rookies were generated with 75+ in just about every stat, with a good training schedule and training camp one could win grand tours with Neo-pros! |

That's pretty wierd, because I've genuinely never had that option on 09, nor on 07 I believe - all names are just plain white text. Can't comment on any other releases. |

Ah, Cyanide's "time-trial rider who can do nothing else for shit" is back, I thought they had enhanced the young rider files  The last one is a real talent though, 73 MO + 5 stars!

Iirc Cyanide had modified the young rider files so that there would be more riders with good stats from the beginning, but taking a look in the screens in this thread it seems as they've overpowered it too much. Sagan is a one-off somebody should tell them.

Hm, remembers me of Henk Vogels, who managed to get a podium in Paris Roubaix in a historic DB career in PCM09 Vogel seems to be taking the same cobblestones path, but is he that shy that he didn't even let they take a picture of him for your team?

Haha, in pcm'10 there are no photos for young riders
I just checked him in the DB, he's got limits of 78 Hill, 82 Cobble, 81Flat and 83 Stamina!

That's what I meant. i know that's not the original, I thin that that particular interface is great.

Yes. I Started a career with 20 young riders from norway. Luckilly one was extremly good
And one advice, in thuringa in germany I can find youths with atleast 70 in sprinting in any career i have tried On 2012 |

I got two gr8 scouts yesterday! (Both Norwegian).
One of them was 19 years old, had 73 in mountain and 4 stars (!!!). (Cant remember the rest of the stats since am currently at work).
The other had 74 sprint and 2 stars.
That helps my all norwegian youth team, and hopefully we might be able to get the first Norwegian GC winner in one of the three big for the first time in history!

Scouting and youth riders are so broken in PCM 12, that is my opinion. To much really huge talents, you can find like 10 Sagan's every season. I offered 2 contracts to 2 19 year old, and looked to their potential with the DB editor (didn't adjust it), and they are way not normal. The first one will win TDF on one leg, and the other win will win all the cobble classics.
And then I have this crazy shit Italian:
But the game was even more bugged. Those 2 riders have both accepted 2 CONTRACTS OF 2 TEAMS. Now they are double in my game.. >_<
My scout now found a youth rider, and he is saying: "This will be the best rider ever!" I gave him a contract, lol.
(Sorry my game is in dutch, but I guess you will figure the statistics )
