The secret is that's not only about PCM or cycling but it's about everything. You can share here experiences from any domain with people all over the world.
Ditto
Thanks to CrueTrue and the admins for all their hard work

"I love him, I think he's great. He's transformed the sport in so many ways. Every person in cycling has benefitted from Lance Armstrong, perhaps not financially but in some sense" - Bradley Wiggins on Lance Armstrong
Yeah, I like how everyone has their own personality you can tell on the forum. I have a personality where I like to fight with everyone . But seriously, the minute I joined this forum as a PCM noob I've been hooked. I've made my first post, made a satatement, and gotten in plenty of fights and gotten in trouble many times(here are their stories... dan dan):
Ex. 1- I still remember myself as a noob working around the sight and ranting on the USAPCC thread. I got into this really big fight with valverde about Levi Leipheimer's climbing ability that ended with a post like "and if he went over a speed bump he be great too", and I said "yeah. Everyone else went over the speed bump too". When I finally withdrew, I got a really nasty PM I can't repeat here from valverde saying that he wanted to know if I had guts and said I was a wimp (hope things have patched up between us valv )
Ex. 2- Being the curious noob I was, I have happened to get into a little trouble on daily. First Cruetrue had to repremand me for spamming. I wasn't really... just bumping threads I liked cause I was sick and tired of people ignoring them . Then to one of my first posts on what the man-game was- posted right smack in the general forum. Lastly to my outburst of pride and passion towards protecting daily and its members from the evil spam bot. Some bot named "S......." I can't remember started posting threads about cleaning materials. I let it have it with some really nasty comments. That led me to getting a freindy PM from Roturn about not commenting on spam bots threads .
Overall, I love the PCM Daily community and members, and I hope I have made an impact as well .

I almost shed a tear reading these comments. But i really love this website, there are so many interesting threads here that my tracked threads list is so long i might need another account to keep up with them all!
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring.
Yeah Daily is pretty awesome. One of the things that contributes to that is seeing so many members that after so many years here, still have the enthusiasm to contribute actively for the community, which is admirable.
To me what interests me the most is the cycling section. You see when it comes to football it is pretty easy to find someone whom with you can have a conversation about. As for cycling, PCMDaily is one of the fewest places where I can share and read some discussions, apart from a couple of friends from the faculty.
So thanks CT and the rest of the cast for running this place like you do.
PS: Ah and thanks isso. The "Girls watch porn too" video, which appeared at the end of your Quagmire little tale, was seriously interesting.

You do know that those results are based not only on the video you just watched, but also on your google search history, right?
For example, for me it shows 3 onboard motorsports videos because I'm completely obsessed with onboard videos.
I guess we know your interests now

Ahahah. I know the results are personalised, but well, let's face it even a 12-year-old knows neither google nor youtube are the best way to get access to that kind of entertainment, so don't ruin this beautiful topic, you insensitive bastard

I was just annoying you. That video you mentioned is a featured video, so it'll show up no matter what your search history is

I can second this, most of my friends think i am freak when i am able to watch 4 hours of cycling and i cant discuss it with them. And also because of that i love Daily and i am really happy i discovered it a year ago before TdF (i was playing PCM longer but was not into the internet communities and social networks much-well i still hate Facebook and never will have such a bigbrother spysite active).
And year later Daily is the first interwebz site i open everyday (another early birds like me know it probably ).
And as i know i could be quite an annoying person sometimes, i can use this thread to say sorry to anyone who i maybe offended here. In the end life would be boring without some friendly quarells.
So thanks to CT,SN and the others who dedicated part of their life to Daily, as it is nice part of my life too now.
And as the others say, things will go crazy in July, expect all-in Sagan support blind fanboy attitude from me (well you would probably expect that either ).
P.S. to Baseball. My first two months here were also very noobish, when i joined the man-game and i started offering contracts like a crazy in the transfer period, which resulted in exceeding the possible number of offers and i had to be calmed down by Roturn
VERY BIG THANK YOU to CT and all the other people working so hard on the databases, which make the game soooo much more enjoyable AND the guys working on the website
i think everyone really appreciates your work!!!
ps: cant wait for july for the next stage discussion threads

That is so correct! We owe CT a lot, him being the first making a real, strong community about a lovely sport, greatly under-appreciated. It's very interesting sharing your opinions in here, and even though there will always be people who don't share it, you don't get too rough with each other, unlike, let's say: football?
I'm just going to add to what everyone has said - this is now the #1 forum that I visit (including others where I have over 8000 posts...). The databases, the man game, the stories... everything here is just incredible.
This is also the only place where I can talk about cycling. I don't know anyone else who watches it (certainly no one who watches races other than the Tour). The ability to come online and just talk about the only sport in this world that I truly enjoy is worth entering alone. Add to that following the threads for all the major events during the event, it really does feel like I have a whole group of friends around me as I'm watching these things. It feels like I'm sharing the experience of the race with everyone here.
So thank you CT and everyone else who is involved in making this the best site that it can possibly be.
I think what gives this forum it's high level of quality is the relatively low number of (active) members, atleast compared to other sites such as EAs FIFA-forum or FM-Base.
Here you have a few, but devoted members instead of 100.000 screaming kids
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

So that hasn't started yet?
Not much to say after the other posts.. I'm another one who find here the only place to discuss cycling, you kinda know everyone who's around, people are friendly, and the site has got some great stuff like the stories, the downloads and the Man-Game which I'm not part of but seems to be amazing.
Keep watching the ManGame forums. There will be a call for new managers for next season. There are always managers that do not work out or just decide to move on.
So keep reading and stay watching. The ManGame will also be running our version of the London Olympics with teams choosen by the ManGame managers.
