I like this rider better, but you used the point values for a 25 year old not an 18 year old. Need to subtract 70 points for the age difference. (It isn't going to be possible to hit the 70s in any stat for an 18 year old with 8 potential, but he will grow very well quickly.)
My stats only equal 819, and with 8 potential i thought i would have 820 to use?

You start with 910 as an 18 year old, 8 potential = 160 points, so you drop to 750 for stats.

This isn't the first time I've seen it, but that rider is 27 in this game. Remember the game starts at Jan 1st, 2011. Not the current date. I can easily just add a year to the birthday, or if you would rather keep the date please re-edit the stats for a year younger. (10 points isn't very hard to adjust).

I thought it was 20pts from 4 to 8 (80pts)
It sees a little unfair to force us to spend 80pts just to meet the rules...

Just follow the rules of it...Is it really going to kill you to have a crappy rider for a season or two while he develops into a star?

2, Downhill would have to be 64 (max of 11 split between high and low stat for a 23 year old.)

This young man from Lisbon started cycling for a local team when he was 15, and has slowly developed a fondness for the sport, finally choosing it over his original love football, since he was offered a youth spot at Sporting Lisbon..
He has an absolutely huge upside, and although he may not win much for a couple of years, he will be a star if he stays healthy...
Fave Rider: Levi Leipheimer
Fave Race: Volta ao Algarve, Vuelta Ciclista a Leon, Tour Med.
EDIT: Fixed the stats, again.

PCM 10 would definitely be a reason for him to get as far as possible from bicycles

It was not that bad wasn't it? I actually liked it, but perhaps because it was my first game.

It was plain horrible (imo). 20-rider sprint in Roubaix, 15-rider sprint at the top of the Tourmalet, no sprint trains at all in flat stages until 5 km to go when some 5/6 riders would blast past everybody at 70km/h as lead-outs.. the graphics were good, but the AI was very poor. That's why I went back to PCM 09 after some time
And it went this far (although it seems it was Focus not Cya doing this):

Don't worry about it, I'll tweak ya into the limits. You were only 1 over, +1 for the downhill. I've got it fixed in my DB already.
