Thanks giroalberto.
sali: I can't find enough info from those stages to create a correct .gpx. I can do the stages if you provide the .gpx files.

Here's another stage from the Tour 2000, created on request from lluuiiggii. This time one from the Alps, ending in the ski resort of Courchevel after climbing both the Galibier and la Madeleine. A truly hard stage.

Had nothing to do so I deviated from what I said about only real races and created a fantasy one.
Inspired by the Giro dell'Emilia, I created a world championship in Bologna, taking on the finishing climb in Emilia, up to Madonna di San Luca plus another one. It's a very hard race, and will definitely not end up in a mass sprint like the one in Copenhagen. The final kilometer is very easy though and a puncher with a good kick is definitely favoured. A perfect route for Philippe Gilbert or Joaquim Rodriguez.

Yes, that's the only info I could find as well, and it's not detailed enough to create a correct .gpx file.

Ok so I've played both 2000 stages you made, and sometimes the road has no ground under it (during turns in ascents/descents), but I assume this is hard to correct preserving the constant slopes, so no problem with that. Another thing is that on the Hautacam stage, the podium is on the middle of the grass, looking kinda silly.
Obviously these 2 things are very small problems, so it's okay if there is no correction. Thanks again for the attention!

Yes sali, I can't create them.
lluuiiggii: The first thing isn't easy to avoid, so I've done my best to limit those parts. And I'll fix the podium thing tomorrow.

Here's also a timetrial for the world champs in Bologna. No way near as hard as the road race, but the first kilometers are quite hilly and might crack someone who pushes too hard in the beginning. Lots of time to recover after it though, as the last 2/3 of the course is completely flat. Definitely a course where Tony Martin could prevail again.

Would you be interested in doing the Herald Sun Tour?
I have attached the gpx files here

Yes, he made the 2009 route, but I'm sure aeking and myself would like to see the 2011 route in-game! I really want to see how that Arthurs Seat stage would go down! |

Couldn't resist creating this stage from the Giro next year, since it goes through the town where I always go skiing in the winter.
Giro '12 - Stage 19: Treviso - Alpe di Pampeago

I'm currently working on another request, but when I've finished that I'll take a look at Herald Sun Tour.

I've updated the Pampeago stage, since there will only be one intermediate sprint in every stage in the Giro next year.

And I've also updated the Courchevel stage, fixing the podium "bug" lluuiiggii mentioned.
