I can make season planners for those of you who are struggling to get all races done week-in, week-out. I'll share a google sheet with you if you PM me and you can do it whenever you want with all races on there. It won't have roles so I'll have to guess or you'll have to guide me a bit there

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Decent couple of results in races/stages where we didn't have the most suited squads.

Simoni in a very decent place ahead of the decisive TT. Not sure about the field quality in TT, but i would be surprised if he can't finish in GC Top5. Also Diaz finally doing fine in a race, although maybe if Simoni had worked for Diaz's sprint instead of attacking... who knows if he might have give us a stage win

Played it perfectly with the intentional time loss of Thorvaldsson on stage 1 to be able to go for stage glory - and he delivered! Big time performance by Kripovets as well, who looks ready and set to be the big favourite for the final GC now. He's perfectly placed for the ITT, which with its length could offer the chance for a dominant win. After an invisible first stage it's running perfect for us right now.

Another loss in a small group sprint. But what can you do, Puymbroek gets to wear the leaders jersey. TT will be ugly but maybe he can have a shot at the points jersey he does well on the other punchy stages. |

Not the ideal situation to be in after stage 2 but Saunier needs to pull up his socks for the ITT and deliver. He should be one of the better TT riders among the GC contenders.

Big one for Kripovets. He absolutely delivered once more. Tomorrow will be a fun day for tactics.

7th for Simoni and Lafuente still on Top15 in GC. Let's see what happens in the final stage, but an attacking Simoni or a stage win for Lafuente would be nice

Amazing ride by Jimenez! Taking 6th in GC from the breakaway, while Diaz and Simoni attacking together in the final climb to distance the bunch a little, though it wasn't enough for Simoni to gain places in GC. Thanks for the report jandal!

4th is a good result for Saunier and I'll take it. Nice little comeback race for us.

One of the worst days for us all season long. Thorvaldsson having some issues helping his companions in the last 20 kms when they are riding for the GC but him only for the stage. The team going a little too early, and it's kind of surprising that we couldn't ahut the gap with our flat/downhill experts after the climb. And then out men must have had a standstill, so that Kripovets lost the GC on that short final climb. Well the results still look good, but we could've well come away with either the stage or the GC today. Loosing both does not implicate intelligent racing here contrarily to stage 2.
Thanks for the awesome reports Jandal! Andolini surely a worthy winner, he's got one hell of a season.

Great to see Puymbroek get his win think Thorvaldsson owed him one. Aggressive riding throughout was rewarded and after losing 4 minutes in the TT, 5th on the GC is pretty good, plus the points jersey.
Thanks to Jiménez and Real Madrid for doing the work so we can steal 5 seconds from him at the line and pass him on the GC.
One more big race for Puymbroek and then he can take a well deserved rest.
Congrats to Andolini on the victory, consistency is rewarded. |

Zepic avoiding another win and Plesec taking one, hopefully he can consolidate that lead on the cobbles, good start in one of the biggest races for our team.
Thanks Jandal!

So close for the win in the big cobbles stage! But now Rodriguez is on the race lead A shame for Lafuente's crash, is he still in race? Does he have any injuries?
Thanks for the great repport jandal!

Lafuente got back up pretty well and finished not too far down

Going to be hard words in the Cartamundi team bus before the next stage. I knew the GC was going to be tough but reserving our energies for stages has led to two 6ths and a 3rd, which can't really be counted as a big success.
Boys should be motivated tomorrow. Doesn't look like Grice is great in the hills so stage 5 may be hard enough to shake things up again in the GC. |

What the fuck was that? Rosenkharst with an awful performance from the break, the team completely working against the own tactics, chasing for absolutely no reason...This has been as bad as it could get.

Nice riding by Plesec to secure 2nd, was really the perfect race for him to take the win, but 2nd and points is still great.
Thanks for the report Jandal, really well written!

Great stage win for Lopez Can't be too unhappy with 6th from Schmidt, given he's not among the top favourites. Hopefully the last stage won't throw up any surprises.
