Well, bigger version should be open-able.

I can't do that. Tried everything.

Talansky is 77MO & 74TT. At good form, he is able to be runner-up in Paris - Nice, if there are 2013 startlists, since all the good guys went to Tirreno.
Okay, I could've upped him to 75TT, but not more.

I think you will find out soon (hopefully TdF) that he is capable of a bit more. But OK, it's your decision.

But here some facts: from what I can see from those tiny screens, you rated Kelderman as a better time-trial rider than Talansky. Let's see their results head-to-head:
- Tour de Romandie 2012 prologue: 2 vs 10
- Tour de Romandie 2012 time trial: 2 vs 46
- Criterium Internacional 2013 time trial: 5 vs 11
- Paris-Nice 2013 prologue: 76 vs 4
- Tour de Romandie 2013 prologue: 2 vs 10
- Tour de Romandie 2013 time trial: 20 vs 23
- Tour of California 2012 time trial: 5 vs 27
7 efforts: 6-1 for Talansky. Wink If you discount prologues: 4-0 for Talansky.

Okay, it's fine.
I'm just a Kelderman fan Pfft

I said, I could've put Talansky on 75TT.
And I will let me be proved wrong(or not).

And comparing early 2012 results isn't fair, since Kelderman wasn't developed by then, and awesomelly developed halfway 2012 - Now.

Btw, don't forget this:

I think this: https://www.procyc...ns-Montana
was far more impressive in terms of TT than anything what Kelderman has done so far. Wasn't Talansky closer of beating Wiggins in TT than anyone else in 2012?

Jesleyh
True. I admit that it's a mistake of mine. Nobody can deliver perfect stats.
You're free to edit it Wink

Downloaded it, but when l go to use utorrent, it says that there isn't enough space for the command. Egh?

Lachi
Why should you use utorrent for a normal download?
Could it be that you are confusing this DB with the realname DB from pcmdaily?
The support thread of the daily DB can be found there: https://www.pcmdai...d_id=29983

Taht's an MTT though, totally different cookie. Not to be mistaken with a flat 55km ITT where kelderman was 4th..

Now lve downloaded and extracted it using WinRAR, its in the appropriate folder for being a steam user, and it now doesn't show up in the game. Any thoughts?

EDIT- Got it to show up in the game, but stage variants aren't there.

Did you copy all folders, including CM_Stages, to the main game folder?

Newbie, just wondering what the major differences are between this database and the PCMDaily Realname one? Looking for a bit more detail possibly from the creator (or someone as equally clued up) as to just what the benefit of one in comparison to the other is.

Jesleyh
I'm not saying whether the one is better than the others.

Daily DB got a lot more smaller teams, mine got variants.
My stats were completely re-done, while PCMdaily DB started from the old Daily Db(you can see that as good or bad, not sure how to see it...)
My DB has a lot of real reserve-sponsors(Think ING, Pinarello, British Airways, Vodafone, and more), while PCMdaily DB has real equipment.

I've now looked at both databases in great detail (PCM Daily and Jesley's) a lot of work and effort has gone into both and it is interesting to see some of the differences between the two, at times the differences are slight and at other times quite a few points difference between the stats. There were quite a few things I didn't agree with on both databases, but a whole lot more stuff I did and both databases are great to use. One thing's for certain, both are far more accurate than the official database.

A couple of riders though come to mind, that had I thought had low stats on both databases and they were Giovanni Visconti who won one of the big mountain stages in the Giro, with the stats he's got he won't be winning anythingSmile Thomas De Gendt I thought was quite low considering he finished 3rd in the Giro last year and I think Filippo Pozzato should be higher.

Do the things you disagree with in both DBs (or more specifically with Daily) only extend to stats, or do they concern general aspects (graphics, etc etc)? If the first, you can post them in the Stats Discussion thread if you want to see them changed. If the latter, I'd be interested to hear it Wink

Jesleyh wrote:

You started from the Off Release stats Pfft But anyway, this is how conversions are done (you copy all the stats and riders and there ya go Pfft), so either Daily's stats are bad in each of the last releases or they're somewhat good... well, they are just as good as they were in the PCM12 DBs. How good that really is depending on each person's rating Wink

But well, that's a rather simplistic comparison, I'm sure both DBs have got more than you wrote. For example, in your V2 you already added Kent's young rider xml files; Daily's got real sponsor kits, and etc etc... also I think it's a bit weird to compare teams with variants, sponsors with equipment... I mean, they're not equivalent. But well, I guess it might be easier to just link to both DBs' features list: Wink
Jesleyh's
Daily's

Jesleyh
Well, I didn't compare teams with variants, I just listed a good thing from DB X and then DB Y.
But right, thanks for the explaination Luigi Wink

Just a note for anyone wondering: Concerning variants, they are inter-compatible, so if anyone likes they can copy the variant files from this DB to the PCM.daily DB. It's as simply as that

(And this reminds me that I should upload this DB to the download section... oops. Sorry, Jesley. Happening now Wink)

Yes, you should do that Pfft

Jesleyh,

Are you going to do a post-tour update to the stats?

I hopeGrin

I don't think so guys. I'm into other projects atm, and I don't think a lot of people(at least not as many as V2) would download it anyway, since the big DBs adding f.e. races will be there after the last patch, which will be there soon, I think.

Also, I wasn't able to watch every minute of the Tour(watched most though), so not sure who had to work for others, who had to relay, who got free roles, who attacked a lot, who looked good on mountain X, who didn't, etc.
I think some other DBs can be a bit more accurate in that.
