LOL at Vaughter tweet. I like that guy. Plus, great day for his team, good decisions today.
Purito paying for a unlucky week, but still impressive. The guys that he dropped were not weak at all.
Costa, Uran i believe, with fine placings after those moves in between 20 and 30km to go. Good display of strenght.
Finally, good to see Martin's coming of age. Been pointed and praised a lot, and has proved that the allergies thing was a real issue. I remember Vaughters pointing his engine was top notch, and he was right. Great season so far.
Which GT will he do?

I didn't even see that post and it wasperfect timing.
Yeah, perfect timing Though with you recently officially becoming a "Dan Martin fanboy", I expected more like a mix of dozen bananas + Vaughters tweet

Banans aren't quick enough to code, so I waited from the initial rush. so here goes.

More importantly he finished the L-B-L. That in itself is reason for celebration in the Radioshack bus. |

Now that was a far better finale than I thought it would be, it does make a difference when you feel anyone can win.
Despite Garmin having two numbers, you felt Purito or Valverde were favourites, but Martin showed great power to reel in Purito, who went too early. Tremendous stuff from the Garmin team again who seem to pull some really great results out of the bag. It is easy to be thrilled for a guy like Martin who has been getting closer and closer to big results - took Catalunya in a clever way and again here, brilliant.

Wouldn't surprise me if he also wins the Tour of California if he goes there instead of the Giro. |

He got ill, mononucelosis or something, two years ago before the Ardennes classics, but still rode them.
Then he took a break, healed himself, etc. but he's been performing like crap (last of the national ITT, etc.) since then. Even in the early season he's done nothing worth mentioning. Now, all of a sudden, he's back to where he was before getting ill. Strange guy. |

Big win and attack from Martin, good move. Also, briliant day for Rui Costa! And Betancur is going to be awesome, I'd say either him or Henao will win this race someday in the future. |

I thnk some one with a strong Time trail will win the TDC, I live near Mount Diablo and its not that bad, it would surprise me if the winner doesn't time trail well in San Jose |

Not exactly the most selective LBL ever, but yeah, he's doing quite well lately.
