Kiryienka looks to have done that easily, guess Chrono is all about who shows up in good condition. Seeing how Bialoblocki has been riding since the Polish nationals makes me wonder when he tests positive, surely it's coming Wink

I've just won an avatar bet, so I'm up for another. Pfft

The Italians keep winning in China. This time it's Palini's turn.

Wilier
Palini doubles his score in Hainan. Lampre gets beaten again.

So Trek were right to give Mollema a new orange bike for the Japan Cup Rolling Eyes

Modolo, now there is a name you haven't heard of in a long while Rolling Eyes

Wilier
Two in a row, for Modolo.

Wilier
Giraud finally breaks the Italian win streak.

trekbmc
Another crisis then? Pfft

Modolo I doing pretty well here, I don't know how much you can read into this though (end of season, not the strongest startlist)

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Mareczko wins in Hainan.

Wilier
Thömel also takes a stage win in Hainan.

Wilier
Finally a stage that didn't end in a mass sprint. Modolo finished in a group at 20 seconds and keeps the leader's jersey.

OZrocker
Brenton Jones (Drapac) wins on the final day of Hainan!

To nobody's surprise, Modolo wins the overall and points classifications at the end of the tour.

Looks like that's the last .HC race of the year, with Taihu Lake classified as a 2.1.

And I believed all cycling on TV was over for this season !!

I was wrong, with the Tour of Taihu Lake is on starting on Saturday.
Can this be something to watch ??
Not any of the big guns, but perhaps one could spot some new almost unknown cyclist.

I think this Hainan race wasn't broadcasted, if so I missed it.
Surely that would have been more thrilling than the Taihu Lake, it looked to have some more known cyclist and that's always more fun.

I'm thrilled to have a look at Scott Sunderland and what he can do in such a long stage race. He surprised many with a win in the long 1-day race at Melbourne recently, so he might have adjusted more to road races.

It wasn't a surprise at all that Sunderland won the Melbourne to Warrnambool, he was one of the big favourites to win a sprint if the field came together which is what played out. He might do well at Taihu against that type of opposition but will always struggle in stage races as he just doesn't have the stamina.
