Jumbo will likely take all 3 jerseys. And if Roglic hadn't crashed they would have had 2 riders on the podium too. Most dominant team performance in a GT since?
Always hard to trade in what-ifs - Roglic did crash, which is fundamental to finishing. So it's only one rider on the podium (but in the only position that matters!). Ineos have done it twice in the last 5 editions. Sunweb did it at the 2020 Giro as well, but without the win.
This is the 3rd year in a row the KoM has gone to the Yellow Jersey just by nature of ASO messing up the competition. So again, whilst good for Vingegaard, hardly record breaking, & even more common in the Giro & Vuelta.
I also can't really attribute Van Aerts Green Jersey to a team performance. He's just a freak, and has not been challenged for it at any point in this race. He took it on Stage 2 and sealed the win with 4/5 stage left - as much an argument a lack of challenge as good team performance.
JV have been very good. Kuss & Benoot deserve their plaudits for guiding Vingegaard. Definitely best team ride in the post Sky-train period, although as a team being dominant i don't know if anything will ever get close to that 2012 Stage 7 to La Planche and Sky just blowing minds and fundamentally changing how GT's were ridden.
I think this may be more dominant. Wout van Aert dropping Pogacar after being very active all race was comical. And Kruijswijk was also looking strong before the crash.
By the way Vingegaard was top 20 all time in Hautacam, after a crazy Spandelles:

Sky/Ineos was never close to how jumbo is dominant, they never won (never fight for) green Jersey. Jumbo has more than twice prize money than the second team, that's crazy. of course WVA is a factor, arguably best GT performance ever for a noGC contender.

Incredible work from Jumbo the entire race, and really nice work from Laporte to know where the gap was during disorder. I'm amazed constantly at how intelligently Jumbo guys are riding, regardless of their immensely deep strength

Wow Laporte is for sure the best rider of all time this year, could've taken 3 jerseys himself if he didn't gift them to his teammates. Looking forward to his wins in the last two stages!

Ah, I was already wondering when trekbmc would finally comment on Laporte's win
Great move to win that stage, though, clearly making use of a rather messy race situation. Happy for the Frenchies that they finally got a win, although personally I'd have loved to see tibopino win a stage

WvA to win today and tomorrow would be a story. Not that unlikely though.

Already the best at checkpoint 1 it's looking good for a 2021 repeat. Keeping good legs after all these insane days.
His knee must be feeling better, I guess!

van Aert specializes in winning. Although he is pretty good at finishing 2nd as well.

Wout by far th best rider in the circus atm, Vingegard the best climber. I dont have any sympathy for Jumbo but they owned this Tour and they deserved it. Ineos and Lampre I mean UAE are just plain lazy compared to the guys who do their homework. Also, Roglic who?

Ok but why though? Pogi and Wout are stellar to watch. I am happy Neilstrong and Ulrich days are over.

between van aert and van der poel,i always was on team van aert
did van aert become full of himself? because his performance in le tour screams doping too obviously and his director sportiv can't controll him no more
