PCM.Daily Fantasy Cycling Season 2017
roturn
Next draft will be 5 rounds (20 - 24).
It might already be the very last draft round as last year 24 proved to be a good number.

Spilak23 with first pick as we stopped there in round 19.

The deadline is on Tuesday 6th, 1pm CET.

As usual I need your big boards as your pick will be skipped once your remaining list is empty.

Brenton Jones back in my team and he ended the season nicely. Though just afterwards noticed he went down to CT division. So not too sure about this decision.

Denifl and Koshevoy in new PCT teams (yet later not made the name public) and Laengen with Astana. A bit older than recent rounds but more experienced.

Let`s see how they perform in 2017.

Unlucky for Antunes with trek snatching him in the end, but I got my 1-2-3-5 picks. Great round for me, if all those riders step up this year Pfft

Very happy with that round Smile Kump has dropped from 500+ points to 150 after coming back to the WT, but hopefully he can do well especially if he races HC. Boaro has also gone from a good season to not the best and will hopefully bounce back with a new team.

Pibernik and Antunes both seem to be on the up and not having one of the Portugese riders after grabbing an Iranian in Pourseyedi would be a crime. Pfft

Thanks Roturn! Smile

Nice to see Sarreau and Schachmann in my team, young talent Smile . Also, Prades and Ponzi, hopping for a good season next year.

Kolar, Looij, Page & Mathieu, aside from Vallee I got my top picks here and #TeamHype looks better than ever!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Good rounds for me. Happy to get Sinkeldam and have another one of my 2016 riders in Petilli back for 2017.

damn, sadly both Offredo and Zoidl didn't fall back to me, especially the later is a secure scorer...pretty gambling picks for me this time...

1-5-6-7 is always a good result for me. Vallee was great two years ago and is only 23, Norris is a rider I expect to dominate the US continental circuit, Moreno should get a better chance to score well at Bahrain while Grmay is coming off two very solid years and will only get better with time. In hindsight maybe I should have put Kump or Sinkeldam at number one because I knew they were going to go quickly, but never had a chance of getting JVDB anyway.

As for other teams
- Tiago Machado looks like a bargain pick in round 19
- Farrar too is great value if he can return to anything near his peak years
- I had Marcel Wyss noted as retiring, but if he continues then Shonak has another nice addition

You're right though, as he has retired

edit: just a heads up to everyone: Duque is also retired in case you didn't know

18.Gatis SmukulisDelko Marseille.HC/.1 light tours
19.Damien GaudinArmee de Terreflat classics

Guldhammer was a must-sign after getting Kamp...the strongest hilly 1-2 punch in CT.

Puccio could step up if he settles back one or two divisions, otherwise he'll be a consistent scorer.

Smukulis adds some surprise factor to the team, with stepping down a division he might add some more points to his bank than the typical ones from the Latvian NCs. At least there are chances of a bigger improvement.

Gaudin is just gamble. Going from WT to CT is a risk for everybody, but for me he still could have the strength to dominate .2 classics and score good also in .1 flat races.

Here we go. The final team spots are filled...or almost as some teams need to re-draft for their teams. Lakebeach (5), trekbmc (2), Spilak (1).

For now the results like always. Later potentially a better overview of all teams and some stats.

A few good names here and we keep fighting for Stig.

I tip my hat to Alex, great spot in Daan Olivier.

Thanks for the great draft, roturn!

Well, I don't know why he didn't have a contract for 2016 so I have no idea how in form he will be in 2017, but I figured it was a nice bet. Had him on my list from the very beginning, just had to find the perfect time to put him on a high position.

He had initially retired in mid-2015 due to motivation problems, but started riding in the amateur category last year again, and LottoNL reckoned he'd still be worth a shot. Might in fact be a very nice pick!

Last 5 rounds were a lottery. I decided to just check what riders were underperforming last year in our Fantasy League, and most of them were high on my list. Except for Durasek, got my 1, 3-6 picks this rounds.
