Only 24 riders? That's gonna be either a stretched season or a few less races. Even with new sponsors looks like a noteicable budget cut.
Absolutely. A single injury and they can't ride 3 races simultaneously. Europcar struggled with I think 27 this season.
That's because many Europcar riders aren't even PCT standard.
The average this season for riders in WT team is approximately 27.65 btw.

I see LottoNL targeting the Tour, one of Giro/Vuelta, the cobbled classics and shorter stage races. Losing Mollema and Boom will hurt their GT and classics results but they have youth.

And knowing the team's crash/injury record... Well they'll just have to let Sven Kramer ride some races, then.
That's very unlucky for Simon, but from a betting and racing perspective it throws both Nationals and Down Under wideee open. Certainly Down Under was almost a guaranteed win with bonuses he gets in sprints and with Orica leaving Matthews out of it it will be interesting how they approach it now. Very unlucky for Gerro but it will make January racing a lot more exciting.
Alongside Tour of Yorkshire and Tour of Abu Dhabi the Tour of Michigan is shaping up very nicely and looks pretty good. Especially as it's a womens race as well which is always a terrific thing. Even more so for Michigan where the mens and womens routes are same, as is the prize money and media/tv coverages
