@Pelli I'd say Hutarovich would take more wins than Meersman, still.
Now that would be a nice Fantasy Bet.
@Spilak23: Look at the first link, where was Hutarovich?

Hi... I think that we will see the most interesting Vuelta of the last years... I really hope that...
I hope were going to see 5 differents favourites for the victory... Nibali, Purito, Valverde, Urán and Samu Sánchez... For the sprints.. I think that we could see a nice fighting for all the flat stages... Ventoso,Hutarovich, Petacchi, EBH(?), Demare, Breschel(?), Hushovd, Matthews, Van Hummels or Feillu (?), it will be awesome...
Finally i think that we would not see Roche (he finished Giro and Tour during this season)... Majka, Betancur, Dan Martin, Hesjedal... |

Roman Kreuziger confirmed taht he will ride Vuelta! But he said he won't be leader for GC, he will try to win some stage and prepare for WC..
as leaders there will be Rafal Majka and Nicolas Roche, and something will try Ch.A. Sorensen he also said on his website...
I hope he will show his form on WC :-) |

Will be interesting to see if Nibali can solidify himself on the 30km TT.

I think Henao is leading Sky considering Uran was basically their leader for the Giro. Not sure the sprints will be that great, close maybe, but there aren't that many sprint stages.
Roche only did the Tour, and Majka is likely to be there

So likes of Kreuziger and etc. coming from the Tour. Cue the people telling those riders off when they do badly on GC, even though almost all of them say they target stage wins..
From the Tour guys, I can honestly only see VAlverde doing well in GC that is.

I read an interview with T. Pinot yesterday.
He was off the bike for 10 days after his TDF abandon. He's not too sure what to aim for at the Vuelta. He expects to lose time in the first week (due to a loack of preparation) and will only decide, depending on his G.C. position then, halfway through the second week, what he'll do next, G.C., KOM or stage wins. |

Exactly, J. Rodriguez is also going and he has made clear they are there for GC. With just 1 TT and 1 TTT, he surely has a chance. In fact, Vuelta route suits more for Valverde and Rodriguez with short steep climbs and their turn of speed, but surely TdF must have taken too much out of them.
Last rider with best finish in TdF and Vuelta was Carlos Sastre in 2008 with 1st and 3rd respectively. |

I hope the Vuelta will be exciting as the 2012 one. This years TDF was awesome, so Vuelta should be too I think... |

Ahh yess, knew I'd forget someone obvious.
Will be intersting how he'll cope in 3rd week though.

Kreuziger goes to prepare for the WC, but i would not rule out the possible stage win. He should help Majka and Roche too. As Spilak23 said, he is being squeezed again.

Gerrans has confirmed he is racing the Vuelta. Surprised with that, but didn't do much after the first week of the tour. Also the Vuelta starts latter this year so more recovery time. |

EBH will likely recover in time for Vuelta.
He won't be in top shape in 1st week, but will be hoping to hit good form in last week or so. He'll have a free role in targeting stage wins, especially going into breaks. Could well get few stage wins, which should be very good for him, but who knows what shape he'll have.

So Basso wants to podium at the Vuelta:
https://www.lequip...xtor=RSS-1
I really don't see it. A rider well passed his best on a course which is covered in punchy climbs which don't suit him. The lack of TT kilometres will help and he clearly isn't too bad after Pologne, but still, this just seems like posturing.

Will be hard for Basso, but why not. At least top 5 should be possible. I also expect good results from Pozzovivo in Vuelta. |

Decided to quote this since its somewhat Sky related

I'm more interested in seeing how Boswell will do! I think he may catch a lot of people off guard as a mountain domestique here.
