Didn't you know? They're identical twins, but got separated immediately after birth and LLS got adopted by a spanish couple!

No. Pedro Leon is the legitimate child of LLS foster parents.

Is my English too bad or is CN just stupid?

They've corrected the Sky thing now.
Btw, I was looking in the first post, and rjc_43's second CN quote is actually correct, isn't it? It's called subjunctive, to use the base form of the verb after certain expressions or verbs (including insist). But in this case, 'refuses' should turn 'refuse'.

You are right, it is insisted
-eleventy billion
Sassi insisted he fight back
The two bits in bold are the problem, and are in different tenses (insisted = past tense, fight = present tense)

Well, decided to do some quick search, found this:
Notice that in these structures the subjunctive is always the same. It does not matter whether the sentence is past or present. Look at these examples:
Present: The President requests that they stop the occupation.
Past: The President requested that they stop the occupation.

Second place goes to Daniel Martin, with third to Dani Moreno
Joaqiun Rodriguez was third.

They corrected it right after:
17:26:22 CEST
My goodness, of course that wasn't Moreno. It was Joaquin Rodriguez of Katusha who took third place. The group came in only 8 seconds down. |

They always does small mistakes in the live-update. He mentioned Dan Lloyd and Cunego in the 2nd group when it actually was Niemiec and Martin. They spelled Zaugg with one g. Visconti was spelled Viscoonti etc.
Probably because the commentator is stressed and just has an TV to watch the race on.

That's fairly standard - guy out of contract? Getting on in years? Needs World Tour points to get a new contract. I think we all know where this leads...
