Here's a few pics from Stage 1 of the Tour of Britain. From Menai Bridge near the start, and the last categorised climb of the day with around 40km to go. Not particularly racing hard at either point!
I heard yesterday (or before) that Tyler Farrar really wanted to visit Scotland, and so far never had.
Today he is in the break and got to Scotland first, perhaps that's why he is in the break today. First day they arrive in Scotland....
Wow, man
This guy is for real. Lots disputed that 6 months ago when he beat Cav in Argentina.
How often do one see Cav lifting his arms in the air FURTHER down in the finish. Even Greipel suprised and showed respect directly.

Does Kennaugh know that he's an idiot? I'm all for bashing some of the UCI ruless because they are stupid but the one he broke is actually a good rule

I can only imagine what Gavi must have felt. Getting the Manx-Missile to lead out for the sprint AND in Tour of Britain. What confident he will carry with him for some time.
Then above that beating Greipel and Viviani. This must be BIG for the young Colombian,
So we now got TWO very cool new sprinters on the scene, Gavi and Ewan.
Can't wait to see next yer and what Kittel can get back too....
Well it wasn't a lead out by Cavendish. Cav was too badly positioned in the closing stages, out of the final turn, so Gaviria went for it instead. Greipel doesn't seem to be on top form, but still an impressive win.
