What a month for Aviva, too. Two stages for Schorn on Mallorca! First stage was totally flat and our sprinter couldn't even beat his lead-out men, but the small incline at the end of stage 2 was enough to snatch the stage in a photo finish. And on the final stage he was able to do what we hoped for, making it into the top group of 30 riders unlike most other sprinters and winning that stage. To top it off Poels ends 4th in the GC, a slight shame he missed the Edmondson/Kangert move, but still a strong performance once more. Two great signings, I'm very pleased.
Told ya

Good result for Berhane in Oman to take a top 5 on GC. Slow but steady so far for the Pedal Africa team

CCC going wild in february! Anacona two 3rd places (on stage and GC), Komisarek finally scoring points in the rankings, Nowaczek 3rd! Holla holla holla!
This month (only two races with 4 stages) we got three 2nd places thanks to Komisarek; three 3rd places (Komisarek, Anacona, Nowaczek), and two 3rd places in the final GC (Ulissi, Anacona). What a month! |

Oman was slightly disappointing, as a podium was the minimum goal. 4th for Caruso is still okayish though. At least Ponzi performed well in the sprints and even stayed in the group in the last stage.
Mallorca was a planning mistake I'm afraid, as we were basically invisible there. Still thanks for all theses races Shonak.

Surprised Jeanesson failed completely in the mountains.. But hey a stage win by Robert and 3rd in Points classificatio, not a disaster of a race I can be happy

Wow this is so fast that as I'm posting more results come out
Kozhatayev doing well in San Luis, he's on track for my predicted 4th place. Congratz Willier that is some show Moser is putting on!

There was some issue with the skin colour of the riders on stage 3 and it wasn't down to my hangover. Hopefully this won't happen again. Anyway, San Luis is up and running, incl two videos so far.. Will do the other stages soon-ish. I have switched to Bandicam now, which works like a charm and is very efficient energywise so videos shouldn't be a problem (I am very wary of trade-offs against speed but have also switched up the graphics a bit). Might start Pais Vasco or National Capital later today, too.

That's what you call massive depth
Great race in Mallorca, with 3 riders in the GC top10 (7º, 9º and 10º) and that great win in the Teams classification

Moser winning a mass sprint in the first stage of San Luis Awesome start of the race with Pelucchi also fifth
Only 5th and 6th in the second stage, with Pelucchi being a little disappointing, as he was previewed as the top sprinter here. Nice to see Looyen of my Dev Team in the break
And awesome win for Moser in S3! Amazing start of the race, although i would have liked to have a little more depth in the rankings, but the clash with Mallorca didn't allow it

Great TT for Moser and decent effort of Gaviria to have both of them in the top10 of the stage, with Moser increasing his GC lead
And what an amazing win in S5!!! And this time with great depth having both De Marchi and Pelucchi in the stage top10 and both doing an incredible job in the last climb
Currently leading all 4 classifications

Well, first GC win for my team, but not completely happy with the last two stages. At some point i thought Henao could take the GC win as he had 30 seconds with 1,5 km to go, but Moreno fought back to not allow any gaps, but he lost the KoM jersey in the process
And then in the final stage he doesn't bother about sprinting and also loses the Points jersey to Enger
Hopefully really have with the overall performance, with GC win + 3 stage wins + De Marchi 9th + Pantano 16th + 2º in Points and KoM + Teams Win.
Not sure about how much points i have won between Oman, Mallorca and San Luis, but i'm quite confident that we must have climbed to the top5 in CT standings
And thanks for the awesome pace Shonak!

Superb San Luis for Bosch, Auer punching massively above his weight on the decisive stages to finish 8th and win yet another white jersey for the team (which increases the points haul from the GC to equal 5th place).
Rapp on the stage podium at the end caps off a great race.

Kozhatayev you beautiful monster! Beating Henao in a climb like that was incredible! And Ishanov is probably doped
This race was also above my expectations and I'm really happy with the outcome.

Cracking San Luis from Henao, very strong and consistent ride. Not much else from the team, but we are pretty much a one-man show until we can develop local talents and steal some guys off other teams

First three stages of Pais Vasco up, incl videos for each. https://pcmdaily.c...st_1279445
Stage 1: https://youtu.be/...
Stage 2: https://youtu.be/...
Stage 3: https://youtu.be/...
Spoiler Italo - Ventilair beasting it pretty much so far, although Mollema with a real display of strength on the last stage now. Not sure what was up with Barguil, Kwiatek,
Bananito and especially Martin. All losing major time here today.
Cool to have had Samu Sanchez in his last year in the KoM jersey for a day in Pais Vasco, which is sorta his home race given his long stay at Euskaltel back then.

What a pace
Got good hopes after stage two but then Martin lost a shitload of time, and with the TT still to come a good GC classification is far away. Not the best start of the season for him.
