That genuinely sounds hilarious (hopefully no injuries though). |

The neutral zone can be quite dangerous sometimes. There will be riders trying to force their way through the peloton to the front if they want to get into the break or have team orders and they are usually going through a town/city centre with lost of corners and "street furniture". The riders are all bunched together and there tends to be a big crowd lining the roads (granted this is Abu Dhabi so there were probably so crowds). Not to mention all the cars and motorbikes travelling at a very slow speed in and around the riders.
Crashes in the neutral zone are fairly common.

let say that Kittel is the worst sprinter ever seen from -5km to -300m, and they need to learn how bring him there

On the other side of the coin, Viviani and Etixx Quickstep are enjoying a great start to the season |

A puncture prevents Tom Dumoulin from winning the ITT in Abu Dhabi, which has been won by Rohan Dennis.

And this is how GC stands heading into the final stage tomorrow, with the Jebel Hafeet mountain to end the race

Valverde, who else, wins the final stage and wraps the GC of the Abu Dhabi Tour. |

Valverde's acceleration was impressive. The way he closed that gap to Lopez. Man... psycho. Hard to believe this man is 37 and has been out for a long time due to that TDF crash.
Nice performances by Formolo, Niklas Eg, Tolhoek and Lambrecht btw.
Dumoulin with another bike throw. Not a good start to the season |

Valverde - great to see this he has not lost anything from his performance
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Valverde, wow, just flying like 10 years ago.
Dumoulin, man, what a shitty start to his season.

Was impressed by Eg at Abu Dhabi considering we the stats team only had him on 70 mtn which of course is being adjusted.
Also what the hell is up with Kittel so far this season?

Kittel depends heavily on his train, and needs to learn to work with his new teammates. It seems that they put him in a decent position most times though, and he was just slow as hell. |

Yes agree about Kittel and the need for a train but the team has a good train that was used for Kristoff and in Kittel they have an even faster man.
Could be communication etc as the same problem occurred I remember with Cav in his first season with Etixx-Quickstep
