Bardet and Anton on the podium - what could be better? Oh yes, we need a stage win for Balkan to make it a fantastic race! Go Karnulin!

Well, that title charge went to pot quickly.

That's more like it! Always hoped that having a passive leader could allow others to do some crazy breakaway stuff, but a KoM jersey for Manfredi is more than I could ever dream of.
I'm fine with Anacona in 7th. though I'm sure everyone is sweating for this final race. If he can finish with a top 10 I'd be extremely pleased with how this race went.
Pleasure to read this report as usual |

Whether Mannion had a +5, wtf were you doing Valls?? Really? 1 second?
At least the race is on Valls' hands still, as he only needs to finish in the top3 ahead of Mannion, without the need of creating a gap, and he is way worse puncheur than Valls. I think he can get those bonus second to win the race and achieve our goal. And now when is we should stand out for those gaps that were not awarded in S3 and S6
Being positive, the Points Jersey is secured, as it would need a win from Bardet or Cataldo, and a horrible result from Valls to lose it - and it something i won't accept
And more bad news as we lose the KoM by only 2 points. Winning the jersey or not is not a big deal, but the 8-point difference it is
And if Azteca starts to score massively without their leaders, i'm going to get them right in my predicition (1st)

Congratz Kentaurus! Feel bad for Aquarius but there's still a hard stage left and anything can happen, a second is nothing.
As for us it was a good day overall, Carlos Baltazar in the break was a goal as we know his abilities, It didn't work out but it was a solid display. Rujano had a better day than yesterday and climbed a spot overall, and Sólis (finally) showed a good performance in the mountains, also climbing some spots in the GC.
We aren't really racing with pressure, and tomorrow's final stage is sure to be a good one! Rujano and Sólis will be on the look out but going up the overall standings isnt expected, so it will be mostly about trying to keep both top15 placings.

GAVIN!!!! Seriously this race is now in the fantastic range for us. I was hoping to just scratch out some points, Eastman isn't here a win wasn't expected. But the team with a win earlier by Stetina and now one from Mannion who also leads the GC going into the final day has been unreal.
Just need to make sure Valls doesn't get time bonus tomorrow, a breakaway win would be nice!
Obviously our racing strategy for tomorrow changes as we now look to defend the jersey rather than chances to attack. Need Mannion to just find that same strength he showed today again tomorrow.

This is by far the part that is most exciting, scoring serious points without using any racedays from Eastman, Chaves or Squire.

Yet another day of catching a breakaway. Congratulations to Kent on being able to score this massively without using his leaders. Must hurt for some of the teams using their climbing aces.

Well, this turned into a magnificant race for Azteca Mannion ain't shabby, but I didn't see him taking GCs in Eastman's abscence. Obviously, it ain't over yet. But I doubt we will see Valls podium the final stage. Still, even if it's hard to lose yellow so close, Valls did significally better than a hyped Penasa (don't get me wrong, I actually have money on Penasa winning the CT ranking)
Feel a bit sorry for Lewis/Stobart, as the KoM shirt would have been cool with Suaza crashing out of GC hopes.
