Nice and easy start to our ICL career, not being last is a great thing!

The less I say about our start, the better. Still, at least only six Dev Teams are above us.

5th is decent: pretty much exactly how I thought of rankings would look minus less Appo points than I expected. February should see an improvement with Nieve and Vanendert both CT2 GC favorites, plus Appo should be better and go for a stage. Chuck in Ochoa Rivera and Bennett picking up points elsewhere should be an even better month, despite January containing a goal, home and first hilly classic win.

Of course jandal can't have nice things. of course Vanendert is the best. but loses GC. TO THE PISSING BREAK. AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGHGHGHGH
And you, Davide. Of course, why would I expect one of the CT's top sprinters to come high than 9th. How unrealistic of me.
At least the video showed Vanendert tried :/ Oops, in my rage I forgot: cheers shonak

I just hope we don't regret passing up these early season CT.2 races. Would've been good scoring opportunities...
Looking forward to Mallorca

What the hell happened to Grmay on stage 2? Presuming a crash to lose 7 mins on his rivals. Ait El Abdia takes the KoM jersey for a consolation and it was good to see him in the breaks

Thömel with a second place is decent, at least he showed that he has it. Kerns performance was okay-ish, while Mørkov showed our Colours in one break, which was nice but less than expected.

8th and 9th in Algarve... I expected something better. Also looks like Komisarek will have a problem during a season to reach top 10 in any race. |

Planning for my poor Suntory Dev team resembled an episode of Reggie Perrin
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ajEW...ajEW9kjufM
Which is why they find themselves in the Algave.
Amazingly Yamashita came away with 2nd in the KOM!
Thanks to Shonak for the reports.

I made a reserve for Tour of Bishkek because don't have the stages yet but wanted to do Vuelta a Mallorca. Illes Balears with not a single botd in their home race, shameful!
Vuelta a Mallorca results posted, including videos of the two hilly stages:

Love the tempo so far! Thanks Shonak for reports. Santambrogio 10th in GC which is okay result with that line up. Also Poljański 13th. Pretty good for him especially with that 5th place on stage 2. |

Wow that was quick, thanks Shonak for the results. There seem to be plenty of breakaway wins this season so far. |

Unexpetedly good race in Algarve with a few solid stage results and 5th in GC.
Mallorca was a little different with the stronger field, but luckily Kohler saved us there on the last stage.
Thanks for all these reports Shonak, the pace is awesome

Interesting race in Mallorca for two reasons. Firstly, Rodriguez isn't quite what he used to be, but still good enough to do damage that only a few could resist. Secondly, two of the four stages had Coquard and Rojas finishing 3rd and 4th respectively behind two attackers off the front.
The more things change, the more they stay the same I suppose

Tour of Bishkek results posted.. https://pcmdaily.c...st_1207454
Spoiler race was definitely too hard to control, that steep climb killed the peloton, I imagine some people underestimated it

Nice! Great win for Rose, he was never going to hang on on the hilly stage though. Chapman's definitely been on the vino since his last race.
