Zabel still up there, just not strong enough. Swift and Bewley are just better than everyone else

Great sprinting by Swift, 3 stage wins against 6 is as much as I could have hoped for. The Bewley fight is reminiscent of Swift v Bennati at the 2013 Giro, where I think it ended at 4-all. Now if Bewley can keep on getting himself poorly positioned, that would be great!
Maybe I need to give someone else a turn

We're at the very least consistent. Vanderbiest keeps getting into good positions while failing to execute, Elissonde looks uncomfortable with any change of pace and the idea of getting into breaks - and the rest of my team are basically passengers. We really need some success soon to keep the French sponsors happy! |

Next year I might have to put some money in training, because Garby getting dropped on every flat stage isn't reassuring.

Very happy with the stage win for Frank Schleck. Maybe his last big win? Certainly enjoyed watching it play out.

Haven't been on here for ages it seems. Great to see the game moving so well, and of course that Pluchkin is in the yellow jersey!
How come none of his big rivals are here?
Andy Schleck and Madrazo went to the Giro (Schleck won), Spilak isn't doing any GTs, and the Vuelta route attracted many of the strong TT grand tour riders (Pluchkin won!).
Wow... seems like changing teams has been good for Pluchkin!

Very good from Kristoff! I like that it looks like he's going better and better, that could be promising for stage 13 and 14 and the Chanps-Élysées if he makes it there.
The Swift/Bewley fight is great fun to watch, and well done to their domestiques as well, bringing back the breakaways on all flat stages so far.
Congratulations again, SN! |

And meanwhile, there's only 1 Danish team left!
Guldhammer went to Aker. A lot of the other Danish B&O guys went to the half Scandanavian teams in CT, some more active than others.

I'll take that small time loss, now a slightly easier mountain stage plus the two hilly stages where I'm hoping pulls some serious time on at least Alarcon

That's slightly worying from Martin if he's going to fight for fifth. Luckily he could limit his loss fairly well, but he needs to up his game if he's going to challenge for fifth. On the other hand it's looking good for a top 10, which is the goal after all.
Looks like there's no stopping Pluchkin, congratulations, Avin!
And thanks for two more reports today, SN. |

Atleast Kinoshita is getting in the break. Ji kinda expectedly not doing as well as his stats might suggest, but a top 20 is the minimum I would expect of him so he better pull it together.
Im firing my sprinters they cannot save themselves from this horrible season.

I would have liked to be in a 10 man breakaway group to be honest.
Lecuisinier did Well until he faded in the end. Still 10th is better than expected.

Great performance in the mountains again. Jose very animated and has the strength and determination to nab the important stage win.
Pluschkind perhaps a bit generous there, many thanks to him for stage win award. Hope to squeeze a bit more time in stage 11 too against all the also rans.
Stage win at the tour certainly justifies Jose's presence here. Fantastic

Good step forward in the Team Rankings, it was quite clear that the breakaway won't make it in this stage so I rather had seen Pomoshnikov saving energy, but today's stage might go to the breakaway, so I quess it's up to the other Tinkoffers to deliver.

Invisible. Hoping Morton is saving the best for the end..
Probably the worst team here otherwise

You are welcomed man, Aleksandr is not selfish and can award a guy who pulled with him for a while.
Just kidding, congrats for the stage win, 2nd is also great and more important is gained time on Rein, who can be very dangerous in hilly stages as unlike Jose is also beast against the clock. KOM jersey is a nice bonus, i wonder if Pluchkin/Alarcon can battle for it, or it will be for guys in the third week breakaways.
Thanks for the greast report SN, very enjoyable read!
