Heineken crushed it
Happy with Olman as good 4th and Goss had at least four Top-5 sprints. Losing Ford for the GC still hurts, and also Rogers' gamble was quite a joke eventually Still, another good GC-result and a couple of stage points plus the team's win. Could have been worse.
Those attacks on final stage Glad Olman still could hang on with the peloton in that final kms!

Barmy stuff from Holland with lots of fruitless attacking going on.
A win and big race for Heineken, they and Bacardi getting their act together - meanwhile another crappy race for Quickstep.
Big points too for a CT team showing us initial experts perhaps wrong - these teams can get success and great points from such races if selective.
Thanks roturn again for reports always fun to follow roturnlish

Michael Schär barely reached his minmum goal to get into Top15.
But the extra points by Imhof and Kohler (for winning kom and young rider with 14th overall) make it a much better than expected race for us.
Martin Kohler already did well in Mallorca's breakaways and crowned his early season performance today. He really seems to like C1 stage races.
Thanks for another tense read, roturn. Started believing Agnoli and Kohler can make it at the 3km to go shot..., but am understandably not disappointed.

I'm a little disappointed with this race. But at least Barth did well and finished inside the top 10, less than 10 PpRD is just bad
thaks for the reports roturn

Pure dominance! 4 stage wins and the GC for Holloway in his best ever career race I think.
Definitely one of two his best races ever (La Vuelta 2013, 2 stage wins + tied points jersey).
Big congratulations to Heineken!

This! I mean, come on... three were enough. Why not give it to Goss?

Well, at least you know where you have to use your money on training next season. |

Too early to call that. Next year maybe sprint stat won't work

Holloway really didn't need to steal Lo Cicero's long awaited stage win on the final stage by passing him in the final 10 meters in my opinion. Lo Cicero would have moved up the GC a bit more too.

That's upwards of 250 points. That should help get us kick started, and make up a bit for an underwhelming Ukraine.
It's great to finally have a rider capable of winning stages, even against very stiff competition. Ligthart also put in a good effort.
Excellent race for Heineken

Awesome sprinting by Ayoune there after a crazy stage, mixing it with the top sprinters. I guess 13th for Bennett was probably his best sprint of the tour too.
6th is good enough for Tennant. Should probably have at least matched last year's 5th with a better prologue. Lagab again picking up some handy GC ranking points too.
Heineken looking to step up and get in the top of the table mix with fellow PT relegated teams Venchi and Bacardi now. La Vie Claire still flying the flag for last year's PCT squads.
Stage win and 2nd in GC is going to give a big boost to ASDA in the CT standings too. Great for them that it was earned on merit too, rather than breakaway luck.

So while everybody who should rely on secondary stats is sucking left and right in the game, Holloway uses them to perfection and get 4 stage wins, wow. Congrats to Heineken.
Reus with Ignatiev syndrome it seems, TTs are looking to be pretty random and too much influenced by daily form, so evenb them are not sure pointers (meh). At least he got podium, unlike Mikhail in Ukraine.
